"I use paracute cord for all my duck and goose decoy strings. It is dureable some are 15 years old and still good with no wear. The decoys if they get tangled come apart easily and even though it is slick to start with a good knot and some glue on the knot and they never come untied."

"The soles of my boots were detached a few miles into my 10 mile hike. This cord saved me - as I used it to tie the soles around my boots so that I can continue my hike. It is also great for hanging your food from a tree and any other misc. things you might need it for."

"for the price you can't beat this. I use it camping, as anchor rope for a small pontoon anchor, in my first aid and survival kits, tie downs. You name it. Does not break like cheap stuff and does not cinch down too tie like expensive spectra or other. I keep some in all my vehicles. Less expensive on Cabelas than elsewhere too."

"I have been using this cord for years. Does not mold or mildew. Very strong, 550 # test. Multiple uses in the field. Mainly use it for safety cords to pull equipment, bows and Guns up to tree stands. I always keep some available even in my truck for an emergency tie down strap if needed."

"My wife and I, along with the other hunters in our Elk camp have been using Para-cord for many years, and for many different uses. From dragging Elk out of canyons to tie-downs for tarp ends... and everything inbetween.
Every hunter has 10 to 20 feet of Para-cord tightly wrapped and coiled in their backpack when they hit the field before 1st. light.

"Its a good general purpose cord for use during hunting. Its description says its rated for 300 lbs, while real parachute cord is rated for 660 lbs, but this is half the price of real para cord available on the web, so as long as you aren't trying to fabricate a tow line for your ATV, it should work for the majority of tasks such a haul line for your 15 lb pack to your tree stand."

"Ordered the 1000 ft. roll. As usual, shipped fast and arrived with no problem. This is just like the 550 cord used for just about everything in the USMC. With a roll of this and some 100 mph tape, you could almost take over the world."
