Cabela's No-Vis™ Fluorocarbon Line - 200 Yards

After researching many different Fluorocarbon lines, Cabela's formulated a special 100% Fluorocarbon fishing line to give you all the characteristics you asked for. Not only is it virtually invisible under water, (only 100% Fluorocarbon comes close to matching the light refraction index of water) but its abrasion resistance, knot strength and tensile strength far exceeded our expectations. The extra-soft properties and minimal stretch make No-Vis the most castable 100% Fluorocarbon line on the market. Compare to other fluorocarbons and you will be amazed at how well our line fishes. Available: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20-lb. test. (200 yds.)

"I am not a fan of Fluorocarbon - I am going to stick with Fireline. For situations where I am fising very clear water and need an invisable line, I will use a Fluorocarbon leader.

Due to better price than P-line, I would recommend over Pline"

"Does as advertised. Is strong, can not bee seen in the water and holds a good knot. It is not as limp as I hd thought it should be. It does cast well and I have had very few bird nests with this 4 lb test line."

Surprised and Pleased, July 12, 2009

"I have to say I was a bit skeptical before buying this over Vanish, but after using it all trout season I am convinced in Cabela’s brand. The strength is unbeatable. I spooled two poles with the 4lb. test and have yet to break the line on either. Considering the fact this stuff has the diameter of 2lb. mono I was preparing for the worst, but it never let me down. I bought some for my bass poles, but the rain here in the northeast has kept the rivers high and inaccessible for me. I am hoping for the same results. I will definitely buy this line again!

If you want to make your fishing buddies jealous, I suggest you give this a try!!!"

Great for baitcasters, May 18, 2009

"This was the first Fluorocarbon line I used on a baitcasting reel that does not backlash as much. This is great for all conditions and does not have alot of memory. It is nearly invisable and will not streach as much as mono. This also great for spinning reels and will hold up to the bigest pike, bass, and walleye."

"I bought some just try try it out. I've used Vanish and trilene 100% last year. I use flouro for my leaders, I was very surprised how limp it was, how little memory it had. For the money, this is an awesome buy."

"Using for fishing for Rockfish in kelp beds. Product does have low visibility and good line strength. Memory on reel is high and coils keep forming leading to back lash. Knot strength is questionable. Have had several pull through using an improved cinch knot and a 90% knot."

"Let say I've tested a lot of fluorocarbon lines.Some good some down right junk!!!.This is very good stuff for the money.It handles very well and has great knot strenth.I use 10#test on bait casting out fit with no backlash.Over all a 5 star rating.Price, durablity is execlent.

"did not care for it used it in upstate ny for steelhead and it
frayed to much had to cut at least 20 ft off after each fish went back to my old line i gave it a try not good for large fish but small trout it was okay i was using 8 lb test with a 13 ft steelhead rod with a cabelas reel"

"First off I think Cabela's has once again fulfilled their mandate for their in house brand. Providing the best quality for the money spent. I've seen(and use) better quality flourocarbon lines but not for the money spent. Unlike some other big name brands, this stuff doesn't fray when you tighten the knots. It has great line and knot strength(20lb test). I'm very happy with this purchase, and if you're looking for a quality line at a reasonable price, this is it.
Just to clarify, I use this as leader line for salmon fishing in the Pacific Northwest."
