"I've been so happy with my two e-glass baitcasters that I came back for a spinning model for lighter crankbaits. These rods have just the right amount of flex for keeping bass on those treble hooks. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is because they are heavier than the top of the line composite cranking rods. However, since e-glass rods can be had for about 10 to 20 percent of the cost of those premium rods, they are a best buy I can live with."

"I own 3 of them in 6'6 ML. I mainly bought them for perch fishing, but have used them with crankbaits, and even with a drop-shot rig for bass. As with any fiberglass rod, it is not the most sensitive. I purchased the ML thinking that it would be flexible, but these are pretty stiff. As someone else mentioned, the eyes are not very strong, and they seem to wear easily. They do serve their purpose, and are definitely resonably priced. One good thing to mention is that it held up to a 5lb smallie without any problems. Not one of my go-to rods, but not bad to keep around as a spare."

"I was not a fan of this rod, I bought one for doing some bigger fishing for striper, largemouth, catfish, and the eyes aren't strong at all, they bend with wear and tear, and last time i hooked up with a fish one of the eyelets busted out. Try the IM6, they are worth the extra cash."
