"rods are weak they cannot support the weight of the water and once the rods bend they no longer telescope. Its ok for as cheap as it was but overall its not worth the buy"

"You definately get what you pay for. It is too good to be true. It is very weak and feels like it is going to break while trying to net bait. Although it did land me a nice 5 pound largemouth without it extended out."

"If there was a rating lower than 1, I would have selected it.
First time I used it to scoop up about 20 small shad it collapsed. The net bent at the connection to the handle. Basically, I have most of the previously mentioned problems. This net does not meet Cabela's usually high product standard."

"me and my friend were fishing at lake mac. in nebraska and we caught a carp about 3 pounds and it snapped we were origannaly using it to net shad, but we ended up catching a carp and had to use it. and it snapped. poor quality, awful net, if there was a negative 5 rating i would choose it instead!!!
DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!"

"The net is connected to the handle with an aluminum bolt through what appears to be a cast aluminum housing. It is a very poor design that pulls apart easily with no good way to alter it so it will work. I would not recommend this product."

Poor Quality!,

"First weekend of use netting grass shrimp, silversides and killies for fishing on the Chesapeake Bay. The net fell apart in only a day of use. The handle where it connects to the net broke. Before it broke the net would spin making it hard to even use. Spend the extra few bucks and find a higher quality bait net as this one is not gonna last long even under light use."

"Only owned this 10 days. The plastic black telescopic part broke the first day and then the aluminum end broke 4 days later. The net is very light (aluminum) Kinda cheap. I ended up buying a more heavy duty net non telescopic."
