LST rods perform both equally well. With the combination of medium- to high-modulus graphite material and fast actions, they deliver the same performance as rods that are typically priced much higher. In addition, we equipped them with lightweight woven graphite reel seats (aluminum reel seats on 7 wt. and up), single-foot titanium carbide finish guides, high-grade cork handles and SIC stripper guides. All hardware has a titanium-colored finish. 25-year warranty. Watershed Reels are designed for anglers wanting superior drag performance, aesthetics and durability. The reels are lightweight, built from 6061-T6 proprietary aluminum alloy and are fully machined as a one-piece frame and one-piece spool. The drag system is fabricated from Delrin?-impregnated Teflon? that is heat-resistant, self-lubricating and maintenance-free. The drag is sensitive, precise and capable of protecting light tippets when tangling with trophy-class fish. Each reel in this series is designed with a specific diameter and width to maximize the properties of drag consistency and quick line retrieval. Oil-impregnated bronze bushings mated to a stainless steel spindle allow the spool to rotate smoothly. Three sizes for line weights three through eight. Made in USA.
