Durable Riptide™ motors sport seven-layer saltwater corrosion protection, composite shafts and
Weedless Wedge™ 2 props. All models have encapsulated electronics and built-in
Maximizer™ for up to five times longer running time per battery charge. Infinite variable speed
control. (SC motors do not employ Maximizer™ technology because of lower amp draw, and
offers five forward and three reverse speeds.) Bow-mount models have Tilt Twist Tiller™ hand
control with the super-tough Maxxum™ mount. Some models offer 3X steering that lets you
move the tiller 60° to change the lower unit a full 180° for quick and easy maneuvering. A
urethane potting permanently protects the electronic components. The composite shafts are
unbreakable, flex on impact and return to their original position. They will not corrode and do not
conduct electricity. The Weedless Wedge™ 2 is the next generation of weedless prop technology
from Minn Kota. This new design sports swept-back and flared blades to "wedge" weeds away for the
ultimate in weedless-prop performance. It lets you to glide effortlessly through thick aquatic
vegetation without draining the battery. Cool Power™ technology allows these motors to run
much cooler than other motors, thanks to larger brushes. These motors also create less noise than
others because of a bearing system that produces low RPMs and high torque. Models with Bow Guard
mounts break away on impact from any direction to protect your motor and bow. All have encapsulated
electronics and built-in Maximizer™ for up to five times longer running time per charge and
infinitely variable speed control. (SC motors do not employ Maximizer technology.) Latch & Door
mounts have non-binding nylon inserts
and anti-seize lubricants for a lifetime of hassle-free use. Three-year warranty.
