"Excellent quality; keeps the auger spirals from scraping up everything else and improves safety by keeping the blades covered securely. One improvement I'd like to see would be an optional longer bag to accomodate the auger with an extension on it. Very nice product."

"Though I attempted to protect my auger during the vert first ride in the tag sled, the Cablea's Auger Hauler bag didn't make it one trip. It holed out around the lower section around the auger plastic protective cone. One trip!
At the end of that very first weekend it had holed yet again, around the auger handle area. One weekend in the tag sled. By the way...this tag sled is a half canoe, so the composition materials are smooth and for the most part...slick. All items contained within the tag sled are covered with a tarp (which I stuff around all the contained items) and tied down with rope.
Seeing as though there isn't much else out there for this type of equipment, I would tell a prospective buyer my complaints. From here on out...I will try and make my own "hauler". The unit is just not durable enough. I beleieve Cabela's could, very easily, correct this issue."

"Purchased the cover to keep auger free from ice, slush and snow while carrying the auger on my hitch hauler. It works awesome! Material is durable, yet pliable enough to handle in cold weather. Zipper pulls are large enough to grab, even with heavy gloves on. Definitely recommend."

"The overall quality of the cover is good, but it's a real struggle to get it zipped over the head of my auger. I have a Jiffy Lightning, which, I think, is on the smaller end of the spectrum of ice augers, I could be wrong? I was actually expecting it to fit with extra space to spare. If you have one of the larger augers, this simply won't fit."

"The auger hauler is excellent. Very convenient when you have to carry your auger because you can't pull it on a sled. Fit my Eskimo Mako perfectly. Only complaint is I wish the straps to carry it on your shoulders were larger or padded since on a long walk it can hurt the shoulders."

"Good product, only problem is it does not fit my Eskimo Mako 8" when I ordered it via mail order. Zipper won't close completely around the power head. Another 2" on each side would make all the difference between a 3 star rating and 5 stars. Shame, its a great case otherwise."
