Boston Whaler Boat Cover,June 15, 2009
By WHPJrfrom Chesapeake Bay, Virginia
"This was my second attempt to get a Cabela's boat cover for my 13' Boston Whaler. My first attempt was to get the "no rails" version since the picture/drawing clearly showed bow rails and my boat doesn't have them. The second cover was for a 13' Whaler with rails. Neither of these covers fit my Sport 13 Boston Whaler, they need another 6 inches or more in length. The covers appeared to be of excellent quality - it's just too bad they don't fit the boat for which they are advertised."

Trail Tuff Cover - Montauk,December 30, 2008
By mgeigerfrom Cumming, GA
"As others commented, the cover is a little bit of a stretch to get over the stern corners, but it does fit. Putting a hitch in the drawstring and really cranking down on it secures the fit, then attach the straps."

Nice cover,December 15, 2008
By prowlerpup0from Northern California Hill-folk
"The cover is real nice. Only problem is that it is about 6" too short for earlier Montauks. Mine is a 1974- they must make them smaller now."

Boat Cover,September 23, 2008
By WhalerGuyfrom Seattle, WA
"Good product except the previous one lasted only 3 years in the rainy Seattle environment during the chilly winters. The seams and tie down straps rot and tear easily. For the price, 3 years is not too bad for a canvas boat cover. I will keep the warranty information this time!"

By bigoakfrom Seattle, WA
"I found the Trail Tuff Whaler Boat Cover good quality and easy to install but it lacks tie downs in the front and blows back and flaps when towing the boat. Poor design! I would recomend having two tie down straps located in the very front to secure the cover."

"The quality of materials and tie downs exceeded expectations but the length was 6 inches too short for a 17ft Boston Whaler Montauk with rails."

A little skimpy,December 10, 2007
By ChivatoWhalerfrom Punta Chivato, BCS
"The cover fabric is great, as well as the straps. I expected a little more coverage, however. The cover just barely comes over the rub strip on the front and sides of the boat. The fabric seems to be a little stretchy, and the shape is correct, but it just doesn't seem to be made quite long enough to completely pull to the back of the boat to fit to the stern over the side rails as sewn. Since I'm not using the cover for towing I'll make do."

NO OUTBOARD COVER -TIGHT SPORT 130,October 18, 2007
By mrgeneralleefrom Modesto,CA
"Well, I bought this one, and having bought cover years ago, they came with outboard motor covers included, maybe I missed somewhere that state no motor cover included. On a new sport 130 '08 its does not quite fit to short,. and open area in stern that allows water to collect and exposed controls gas lines etc,. for that matter this is a BAD thing, extra motor covers available but gee,. Why guys,.
Cabelas has alway in most part been quality or a good value. FYI the sport 130 06,07,08 are the same hull with bow rails as well,
I bought one to replace my 1966 classic no rails and again no motor cover. ouch gota send back Thanks for you time"

"This is a well made cover. The fit is excellent. I am using it on my 1976 17' McKee Craft. I only wish that it had the attached trailor straps instead of parachute chord for securing."

BW Cover too short,May 29, 2007
By lastsixmilid
"The cover stretched to its max is 6" short of reaching the transom. Without an integral motor cover it leaves hoses wires and controls exposed to the sun and weather 24-7 and allows easy access for the neighborhood cats. The tiedown system and the craftsmanship are good."
