Not built to last,July 7, 2008
By Flatlander989from Midland, MI
"While the fit of the cover and water proof capabilities are good, its durability isn't. After 2 seasons, the straps degraded and began breaking (and turned to powder presumably to UV exposure). I had to replace all the straps after two years. My cover is now in its third season but the top has degraded, weakened and torn, not to mention leaving powder residue on me and everything it touches. Considering the boat sits in covered storage 7-8 months/year, I live in MI where the sun is not very intense, and I never transport the boat with the cover on, I expected better durability than this."

Good for the money,January 7, 2008
By Saltwaterflyfishermanfrom Grand Rapids, MI and Stuart, FL
"This cover is generous for its advertised size, but for my boat, a Scout 185, the 19 foot version seemed a bit too ample. The ties are generous as well, and fasten the boat to the trailer quite securely. They have to be trimmed, however, if you are going to trailer the boat with cover attached. It seems a bit on the thin side, and the addition of breathing vents would help. I debated between three and four stars, and ended up with four, but others might disagree. I am perhaps being a bit harsh considering the price of this cover. It is a good buy, very good for the money, and thus I would recommend it to friends."
