Great Cover, Horrible Straps!,June 22, 2009
By michiganboaterfrom Michigan
"Today I have ordered my THIRD cover due to the straps dry rotting. One great thing about Cabela's is that they stand behind their products 100% for SIX years on this product! Great cover but Cabela's quality control has a lot of work to do on the straps!"

"Well made. Good strap system. The seams do have a tendancy to leak when it is raining. Overall a good lightweight cover."

Review 4 for Cabela's Trail Tuff V-Hull Outboard Boat Cover
"I purchased the first cover in 2006 since then The straps that hold the cover in place have rotted. whether it was the UV from this area or just bad straps I don't Know. As you would expect Cabela's replaces the original cover and now I have to wait and see if the original problem happens again."

Boat Cover,July 1, 2008
By Slednut3from Western NY
"This cover seems to be very tuff so far. I have not trailered the boat with the cover on yet, but the quality of material seems to be top notch for a semi custom. My boat is a 16' with a bow mount trolling motor so I ordered the 17' as prescribed by the directions and it fits very well. The tie down straps are very easy to use and sinch to the boat tight. Well worth the investment."

Not the quality expected,February 15, 2007
By Atfulldrawfrom Indiana
"Owned this cover for less than 2 months when I took it on a 10 hour trip to Canada for some walleye fishing. Despite what I considered a decent fit the cover developped one rip and the VERY poor quality poly rope of the cinch strap broke just 5 hours into the trip on the way up -- just east of Toronto in some hellacious traffic. String got lost in the cover and we lost nearly 40 minutes trying to get the string re-tjreaded so we could go on."
