OK for the money,March 19, 2009
By Shannon75from Colbert, Georgia
"Just put this boat cover on my boat before the last rain. Kept the water out great. It fits really close to the outboard so very little water falls down into the back of the boat. The straps have to be looped around the trailer and clipped in. It should be fine once I get it adjusted right. The problem is the front of the cover that fits over the bow of the boat. I am pretty sure that it won't stay in place if I try to trailer the boat with the cover on. It doesn't have a "point" in the cover to hook over the nose of the boat. If you pull it too tight at the back the cover pulls off of the bow of the boat. I might have to rig another strap there to keep it in place. It does have a 6 six year warranty so I will see how it holds up over time. I wouldn't think this would be the boat cover for you if you know you plan on towing with the cover on. I hardly ever do that so for the money it costs I should be fine with it."

"I was very pleased with the cover. It was made better then I expected. The tie downs work very well to secure the top. Over all I very happy with the cover."

Trail Tuff Boat Cover,July 14, 2008
By BeeJfrom Stockton, Ca.
"I have used this Trail Tuff boat cover on my 12' alum boat three times since I purchased it. I like it very much. I like the tie down straps being closer together than my old cover, and more of them. I like the way I can pull the straps under my boat on the trailer and snap it in the other side. Makes for a tighter fit. The only thing I wish it did have is the motor cover sewn into it. I would buy this cover again."

Boat Cover,October 1, 2007
By Lunker14from Peabody, MA
"This boat cover lives up to my expectations. It fits my boat (Lund Rebel) beam with a little left over in the length. The material is tough and adequate straps are available to secure the cover to the boat when traveling at highway speeds. This is my second Cabela's boat cover. The first cover was for an Alumicraft 14 ft boat. The price is also reasonable."

Ocassional fisherman,April 3, 2007
By Bigoddfrom Yuma Arizona
"So far I like the boat cover, but the front tip does not stay over the edge of the boat. Perhaps I need to snug it up more. I like the snaps but feel that two per location is redundant, and one would do fine. Lastly, the sun gets hot and the heat intense here in Yuma, Arizona, so how long this cover will last is a mystery. My last one only lasted two years and the sun disintegrated it."
