"My Folks bought me this for my 21st birthday/Christmas and I don't think I'll ever part with it. Its warm, cuts wind, sheds water like a dry duck, looks great, and doesn't get cought in bush or thorns.
You really feel immune to the elements while wearing it. I've only ever owned nylon coats before; this coat just leaves them miles behind. The fleece goes past the waist, a great feature. Hasn't shed at all for me either, happy for that.
I can't wait to take it hiking!"

"My grandparents bought me this coat when I was a junior in high school. I am now a senior in college and this coat has served me well over the past years. It has remained fully waterproof until just recently, but I bought reproofing cream and will take care of that minor problem very soon.
I attend college out in Indiana, where winter temperatures can dip pretty low (especially with the wind chill), and this coat has kept me warm and dry in storm after storm.
I chose to cut off/out the leg loops at the bottom, since I don't ride horses and they were only getting in the way. Also, I bought another wool liner that still lets me breathe with the neck flipped up and snapped shut.
I wouldn't trade it for any other type of coat."

"My wife bought me this coat for Christmas, and I love it. There is one detail that I would change, though. The liner has no sleeves. I can be toasty warm under the liner, but my arms freeze. If I wear an extra layer to protect my arms, then I can get overheated under the liner. Some sort of lightweight arm lining would be a great improvement. Stll, it's a great coat, one that does its job with a lot of style."

"Great Coat. Stuck in snowstorm, snow blowing fast and horizontal. Without it cold goes to the bone. Would be nice if there was access thru coat to pants pockets. Fleece liner was very warm, but tends to leave fuzz on shirts. Maybe this will subside after i wash the fleece a time or two..."

"In upstate NY the weather is a dog lover's foe. With 4 large dogs to walk and train in several outdoor sports a good all-weather coat is a must. Today three of the dogs begin search and rescue training, in the woods, in February. This coat is going with us to help protect from the brush and for warmth. I did tighten the straps around my wrist (I'm nearly 60 and a rather slight woman). The only thing I can think of that would make this coat work better for me would be if there was some way to keep the doghair off from it. If I stop at a store while I'm out I have to take my coat off to go in, it is so bad!"

"I cannot believe that i now own such a beautiful oilskin for so little money! My Mailman saw me in it and flipped his lid at how beautiful it was for the price. Said he had wanted one for years but could not bring himself to pay the high prices he had seen at other stores. he bought one, and now all the mailmen in town can be seen wearing them on rainy days!
I wear it riding all the time and it is the real deal. Complete with inner leg straps if needed. Also great for just general inclimate weather!
The liner sheds like a sheedog in the springtime. I hear that it slows down after a few washes though. I reraly use the liner as the fur gets all over the oily coat and my clothes underneath. I recomment you not bother with the liner and wear something else underneath if it is cold out.
An unbelievable price for this beautiful coaut!"
