Long Drover -- a super coat,October 21, 2009

"It's heavy and has an oily feel to it, but it's warm and dry and wind-proof and long, and it's exactly what I was hoping for when I ordered it. I'm a bit taller than 5'11" and weigh about 178 lb, and the Medium size fits me perfectly with room to add layers underneath. The pockets are ample and I'm still finding new features. My wife doesn't like the look of the "wings" that cover the shoulders, but they come off and are hanging in the closet. Overall, the coat does what it claims to do and looks fine as well. Let the rains come, I'm ready. Oh yes, I ordered the matching hat for days when winds will make umbrellas useless as I commute to and from NYC."

"The recent storms here on the coast were no problem for this coat. The wind driven rain didn't get through the double snap closure on the front. The length keeps the water from soaking through my pant legs. The design of the jacket permits good upper body freedom of movement without exposed seams to let in water. The price seems very fair."
