"I purchased this dinnerware after going through 2 other complete dinnerware sets. My problem with past dinnerware was that it would get very hot in the microwave (eventhough it was labeled microwave safe). My husband habitually puts something on a plate and puts it in the microwave--then he would "yelp" when he reached in to get it out.
I did all the research I could but could not find any dishware that claimed it would not get hot in microwave. I wanted a deer pattern to match my diningroom "theme" (although the heat factor was #1). I read all the wonderful reviews on this dinnerware and decided to try it. We LOVE it!! It does NOT get hot in microwave!! And it is large and sturdy AND very attractive. I actually purchased a second set which I will use to replace pieces that, inevitably, break. I strongly recommend this dinnerware!"

"great quailty, the design is flawless, the plates are deep around the edge so food does not fall off. my 4 year old daughter can carry them around, i'm not afraid she"ll brake them. I highly recommend getting the completer set to go with it."

"I received my new dinnerware a few days ago, and the entire set is absolutely stunning! I am so excited and anxious to get them up to the cabin so I can start using them. The mugs are huge, as I have read, and the bowls are nice and deep for those cool days when I make stew or chili of some kind. If you are a deer hunter and have been thinking about buying this dinnerware, I highly recommend them, because I don't think anyone would be disappointed. It's a great set for the price!"

""I've seen this set before so knew what I was ordering. They are quality, heavy, glazed stoneware similar to the pottery of the 70's-- great everyday dishes.
The reviews were all very favorable so I had no qualms about ordering, and with the incentive of the extra matching pieces free when ordering 2 sets, that convinced me.
The artwork of the whitetail is exceptional. They are a great gift for the hunter in your life. The massiveness and durability of this dinnerware is hard to match.
I can't wait to set the table with these and serve some blackened deer steak with all the fixings for my caveman on one of these huge plates! I just need the log cabin now.. :)

"I was given a 16 piece set Cabelas'S WhiteTail Deer Dinnerware for Christmas and just absolutely fell in love with these dishes, my husband did as well of course!.. I liked them so much that I ordered (2) more sets and then ordered (2) sets of Pine Cone Dinnerware to mix and match with them. They are good solid stone wear and well worth the money that I paid for them, I am sure that I will get many years of wear out of them!..And can not wait to show them off at Family Dinners!!"

"We really enjoy these plates, so far they seem to be of good quality. The graphics are quite nice and the product seems durable. Be prepared for heavy dinnerware though and very large bowls and coffee cups. We however like this attribute and bought 2 sets(incase something breaks then your not trying to rematch the set). Great for cabins and country homes."

"I bought 2 sets of the Cabela's Whitetail 16-piece dinnerware. I use them all the time. I love them so much. I am thinking of buying another set just incase a piece gets broken. I will have a replacement. The dinnerware is heavy. The bowls and cups are big. My husband and kids like them that way. Can't go wrong with these."
