"I decided to treat myself to a nice scope for my new Remington 700 7MM Mag rifle. This scope does not dissapoint. Looks great, durable and accurate. I hunted deer with this in rain and snow the past three seasons and had no problems with moisture or fogging up. Awesome scope!"

"I grew up the son of an Alaska hunting guide and spent 37 years hunting in Alaska's extreem conditions. This is my third purchase of an whitetail classic scope, I like everything about it. Simplicity,nonreflective coating, large lite gathering objective for low lite conditions, and over all durability, non fogging and waterproof construction. The only thing keeping the scope from 5 stars is that it could use bigger eye relief for quicker viewing."

"Had a high dollar scope my Ruger 308 Win. The high dollar scope needed to go in for warranty repair, so I got the Whitetail Classic to use in the meantime. I was blown away by how well this Simmons scope worked. Bright, clear, with very precise click adjustments. Immediately after sighting in, I shot some of my tightest groups ever. Incredible scope of the money.
The high dollar scope came back from the factory repair center. I'm selling it because of how good the Whitetail Classic is."

"I have used this scope for about 5 years, two years on my cross bow and then on my .45 cal muzzleloader, with 150 gr of powder. It works great, no problems. The wide, 44 mm lens works very well in low light. It was dropped a couple times, on very hard surface, full force/weight on the scope, it still works fine."

"I purchased this scope for my 300 win mag. The scope is a quality scope for the price. Only problem is there is not enough eye relief for a magnum caliber. If your shooting a magnum check out the Nikon pro staff. I went with that after returning the Simmons. If possible go to a Cabelas store and try each scope, they have a stock that the scope clips in. That's how I found out about the Nikon. Other than that well worth the money."

"I purchased a W.T.C. 14 in 2-10 X 44, 10 to 12 years ago. It is mounted on a 50 caliber, Knight MK 85 in line modern muzzleloader. I have taken a few deer with it and it has suffered a quite few bumps and bruises over the years but my 11 year old grandson made an awsome 90 yard shot on a moving 6 PT buck in the first gun season in 07. It was also his first deer. I could't be any prouder of my grandson or happier with my Whitetail Classic Riflescope, I think it was a very good buy."

I put it on a win. mod. 70, 30-06 with leopold mounts and rings and have NEVER had a reason to change it!! this scope has been made 2 trip on airplane and I have never had to adjust the cross hairs! for the money I don't think there is a finer scope on the market!!"

"I have owned 3 Simmons scopes in the past and 2 have fogged internally. I do hunt in the rain, as most of us do, and I do make every effort to keep the scope dry. Last year I hunted in a downpour for an hour or so. I came home, dried and cleaned the gun and scope, and went back out the next morning. After and hour drive and almost a 2 hour walk as the sun came up I realized I could not see anything thru the scope but fog. Fortunately my buddy let me use his rifle the rest of the season or my season would have ended that day. Save your money for something else."

"I just wanted to say that the Simmon's whitetail classic scope met my satisfaction. It not only looks good, but performs well on my 8mm Mauser. I was also satisfied with the scope's ability to provide adequate light capture in mid-to late evening lighting. Another feature i liked was the hand adjusting siting screws, sure beats all the times i had to use a screwdriver to do the same thing.
