"This is the second set of knifes purchased from Cabela's. These blades are thinner than the more expensive Stainless 420 blade. However they perform good for the price. Like the heavier blade better."

"It's an OK knife set. I was dissapointed at first, as they rusted almost immediately. However, I talked to a good friend of mine who has been making knives for well, longer than I have been alive, I was able to scrub the rust off and oil them (now have some scratch marks getting the rust off). I have to oil them with mineral oil after every other time, or so, when we clean them, but they haven't rusted since, and look great.
Now on to the good parts... they sharpen easily, and stay sharp for a long time. I have had sevearl sets of knives that cost double, and tripple and even 4 times as much, but these are just as sharp, and easy to handle. They look good, and feel even better in your hand.
I gave them 4 stars because of the rust factor. If I didn't have to worry about rust, I would have given them 5 stars."

"I was gifted to have someone give me as a gift a set of, "Forever Sharp Twin Star Knife Set".. Unfortunately they do get dull and because of their edge processing there is no way to sharpen these knives. When I contacted the company, they wanted them returned for possible replacement.. Well I now have a set of knives that I can sharpen whenever they need sharping..Stainless Steel and a sharp edge go a long way when you compare them to a knife set that you can't sharpen when the get dull..."

"The knife set came across as a quality set. However since giving this as a gift it has been brought to my attention that the knives are rusting quite badly. You have offered and are replacing these knives but its sad that the quality of the knives is such that they would need to be replaced. "These knives are a very good value for the money. They are thick, stay sharp and if you loose or break one it is no big deal.
Yes, these knives rust. Most good knives rust unless you pay a fortune for special alloys. If you buy these knives, don't wash them in the dishwasher. If you do place them in the dishwasher (like me), make sure you get a product such as flitz which will easily wipe the rust off."

"These are by far the nicest set of knives I have ever owned. I am a big time griller and these will cut through any meat you desire. When it comes to cutting and chopping up vegetables it is like running a hot knife through butter. Great product."
