"I bought these binoculars specifically for wildlife viewing in Yellowstone and they did not disappoint. They weigh almost nothing and if, like me, you are used to heavy binox you might think there's nothing to them. However, you'd be wrong. The optics are superb, focusing is a snap and even as an eyeglass wearer I had no loss of view. They aren't cheap but they will last a lifetime. Love 'em!!"

"Very clear image with no blur at the edges. You do not fully appreciate them until you use them for awhile then go back and use your old bins (in this case Swift Audubon 8.5x44) . The blur at the edge of the Swifts was very evident. The lifetime warranty is a plus."

"I compared these with Ziess,Leopold, Nikon and Stieners. I found the Swarovski to be the best by far. Second was the Ziess and for a cheaper pair I think the Mojav(8x42) by Leopold were best for the $300 range. The best are the 8.5x42 Swarovskis."

"I HAVE HAD ALL PRICE RANGES OF OPTICS, BY FAR I HAVE COME TO DETERMINE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I HUNT IN NORTHERN CA, FOR DEER AND PIG. I HAVE USED THESE BINOS IN ALL PHASES OF LIGHT AND SEE THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE IN LOW LIGHT CONDITIONS. I HAVE A NICE PAIR OF PENTAX AS WELL, AND DURING BRIGHT SUNNY CONDITIONS THERE IS NOT A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY. WHERE THE HIGHER PRICED BINOS STANDOUT, IS IN LOW LIGHT CONDITIONS. IF YOU HUNT IN THESE CONDITIONS, I SUGGEST THE HIGHER QUALITY OPTIC, LIKE THE SWAROVSKI EL 10X42'S. THE DIFFERENCE IS NIGHT AND DAY!"

"I went to Cabela's with the intention of spending $300-$450 on a pair of binoculars. I made four trips to Cabela's leaving empty handed everytime because I decided to upgrade each time I showed up. First the Euro's, then the Swaro SLC, and finally after months of researching and saving I decided on the 8.5x42 EL.
I could not be happier with my decision. IMO the EL are the most ergonomical, clearest and brightest glass on the market. The close range focus with the EL will give you a whole new view on everything. Try them indoors, its like looking at your home through a microscope.
The best comparision I can make is that it is like watching HDTV compared to the stardard definition. In low light conditions the clarity is amazing. I spotted deer this season that I would have easliy missed with my old binos. Glassing has become a whole different experience and my eyes never fatigue like they used to.
The Swaro service is comparable to the product as well. I bought my binos from the bargain cave so they didn't have the objective lense covers or the carrying case. I emailed them about purchasing these items and they mailed them to my door for free!
The problem now is that Swaro has raised my standards. I can't help but laugh when I compare them to my old Bushnell's 10x42, it is not even fair. If you can afford to wait, save you money for these. This is the last pair of binos you will ever need. They are expensive (so check the bargain cave) but you get what you pay for!!"

"I finally broke the piggy bank and purchased my first pair of Swarovski 10 x 42 EL's. They are head and shoulders above the closest competitor. I have owned Zeiss Diafun's, Brunton Epoch's and Leupold Gold Series. I regret not having broke down and got Swaro's a long time ago. Who knows how many more deer I may have seen and been able to identify and/or shoot. By far the most ocular friendly binos I have ever had the privilege of looking through. You can glass for hours and never suffer from eye strain if you set the glasses as instructed for both eyes. I recommend all of you hunter who get these binos to set an alarm for 30 minutes after sunset so you know when to stop hunting. If you value your time as much as I do, especially your hunting time. Do yourself a favor buy the Swaro's and be done with binos forever. You will never want to go in the woods without them."
