"The hat ran large so I used a scent control do-rag under it. Stayed warm and dry, even when doing some serious hiking. I like that it has a brim all the way round, but isn't a big hat."

"I ordered the Desert Camo Boonie, and it is just what I expected. Seems to be well made, however it does run a bit too large. I ordered the XL. Check out GunnyHighway's review on May 20,2009 for a method for shrinking the boonie. It does work."

"Its a great hat for the price. I ordered an XL and it was a tad too big. I tried this trick and it worked. Hand wash the hat in very hot water and then let it set in the water for 5 minutes. Then preheat your oven to 300 degrees F. Place the hat on a round cookie sheet and place in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Try it on and if its still too big, repeat the process. I had to do it 3 times, but it its a perfect fit now. I am going to order a couple more."

"THIS HAT IS OF GOOD QUALITY, LIGHT WEIGHT FOR SUMMER USE BUT THE SIZE RUN'S A LITTLE ON THE LARGE SIDE. I'M GOING TO ORDER ONE SIZE SMALLER TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY IMPROVEMENT. BUT OTHER THEN THAT A GREAT BUY."
