"I searched high and low in department stores, large discount stores, local sporting stores and all over online for warm winter outdoorsy-type socks for my kids. You would think living in a northern state it would be easy. Cabelas is the only place I found them, so I bought several. The kids love them. They keep their little feet very toasty. Perfect for sledding, skiing, snowboarding, etc. I like that they come up high enough to cover their calf too. Probably not made for teens ... I'd go with adult size at that point. My kids wear from a childs shoe size 12.5 to a 1.5 and they fit great with room to grow."

Great Cold Weather Kid Socks,May 5, 2008

"I purchased these socks for my grandson's Spring Break ski vacation. The high temps were on the ski slopes in the low 20's and the nights on the tubing hill were in the teens. I ask him several times if his feet were cold, the answer was always no. Great cold weather socks, also great price. Highly recommend."

"No cold toes so far. We have been out in all conditions and they have performed well. These socks let you keep going in the cold, I know if they have cold you go home. So, I am very pleased with socks because we have not had to go home yet."
