"I bought my oldest son his first pair 3 years ago. He is on his third pair and all three pair haven't taken hardly anything to break in. We still have all 3 pair as he has a little brother and a cousin wearing the first two pair. The older two are still in good shape."

"It's difficult to find a quality hunting boots for a youngster. A parent can find the prospect of paying top dollar for a youth boot that will be outgrown in a season or two painful on the pocket book. On the other hand, purchasing a cheap boot is a disservice to the youngster, as cold, wet, sore feet do not make for pleasant memories of first hunting adventures. The Winchester Youth Sharpshooter boot is a great blend of affordability for mom and dad's pocket book and quality that will lend itself to a quality hunting experience for a youngster. "I purchased these boots for my eight year old son. The only problem's we have had is they are heavy and the boot doesn't fit comfortably around his ankle. I think with time he will get used to them. They hold up to water. I am a little worried about where the sole meets the rest of the boot. Looks as if it could come apart rather easily. We will have to wait and see."

"I purchased a pair of these for my son on our first WY antelope hunt and they were tested on the first day when it was 10 degrees outside and windy, not once did he complain of cold feet and we all know that cold feet can ruin a hunt! They held up well in the rocky terrain we were hiking in on another later hunt as well. They seem to fit him well and he likes the way they feel. He liked them so much he wanted to wear them to school!"

"I got these boots for my son's first adventure in the adirondack's to see what hunting is all about. They worked great.on a cold day his feet never got cold even on watch. Also they kept his feet dry all day in some pretty soggy conditions. The price and quality I thought was very good."
