"This bolted up very easy to my 08 Honda Foreman, it sure was a comfort to know my gun wasn't getting banged around in the woods any more. The "U bolts" could of had a shorter thread though. I guess thats whats makes them universal."

"Had to send the bracket back. Could not use a normal bag on the rear due to the amount of room that the bracket took up. Love the gun boot but hate the bracket. Hope they come up with something else."

"i have had this bracket for several years and have no problem with it at all. it takes up more room on the rear rack than the newer model but it is stronger. if you lose the pins that hold the gun case you can find a replacement at any hardware store. lose the knob on the newer model ?? and you will lose them over time."

"recently returned from a moose hunting trip in Alberta. put the quad and myself thru a lot of abuse. the gun boot stayed right in place the whole time. no shaking at all. lost the pins in the brush but made no difference, it never moved and i never noticed it in the way"

"the mounting hardware was less than it should have been. the bolts are too long and hard to fit. the base plate is too weak and has already cracked. I'm going to use a block of wood to beef it up and hope that works. If it doesn't, it has been a complete waste of money. I don't recommend this product and wouldn't buy another."

"This is a great product that is proven to hold-up under all knids of conditions. The only thing I would have liked to see was more mounting options. The bolts provided would not work for my Quad. Not sure how you could make evryone happy thats why this is only a wish item.

"I used this on a 2002 Kodiak and mounting this on the rack was a problem. Because of the design, placement location on the rack was limited and the bolts that came with it were not usable. I had to buy different nuts and bolts to secure it to the rack. I would not recommend this product without researching how it will fit on your ATV."

"In general works good. I like it over the other brackets because it has a lower mounting position for the gun boot. The back can't be used for a storage box like some claim because it is open and the bolts are way too long. I just bought new shorter stainless steel bolts so I won't have to worry about rust."
