"Got my browning knife today and must say it is a fine piece. Very well built and looks awesome. The blade is very sharp and the olive wood handle is just an eye catcher. The carrying case is very high quality but like stated in the other reviews it does not have a strap or flip open top to hold the knife in place. Opening of the blade isnt as smooth as butter with one hand but thats expected considering this knife is new. With a little time im sure it will loosen up. Overall im a 100% happy with my purchase!"

"I need a knife for trout fishing where I can reach into my pocket, grab the knife, and open it with one hand. This happens when there is a fish in the other hand, and I'm standing in the middle of a stream. This knife was almost an inch thick. So thick you cannot open with one hand. Knife returned!"

"This knife is usual Browning quality. Fine edge, a little feathered from the factory, but appears to be good steel. The handle is stag and well fitted and has excellent workmanship. The blade is a little stiff, but it is smooth. I think time and Kleanbore twb 25 will loosen it up properly"

"The knife looks great, is confortable to hold, and seems to be well built. Two drawbacks are the case with no top band or fold to hold in the knife. As the open leather pouch expands, the knife will become loose and possibly prone to fall out. Also, the thumb pin for opening the lock blade is ment for right thumb only, and it does not appear to be changeable to open with the left hand/thumb."
