"The problem is not the quality of the collar itself, I would give it five stars. The tag quality and how it is attached is the issue. About nine hours is how long it took for one of the rivets to break, plus the tag is not engraved but printed with paint which will not last in the field. The type of rivets used may work fine on leather or plastic but will definitely will not work on the nylon braid. If they will engrave the tag and attach it properly they will have something that is a quality product."

"I convinced my father a few years ago to buy one of these collars for Baxter, his Labra-Doodle (half-lab, half-poodle... all water dog!). He also got the leash that came with it. Baxter, a typically excitable and rambunctious then-puppy has been in and out of all manners of brush, sticks, and grasses and his collar has yet to show any wear--on the collar or on the dog. I does not matte his hair, stretch, stink, or rot. The collar has withstood wet, cold, heat, wind, and dust outstandingly. The dog and the owners (my parents) are very pleased with the collar and leash, and continue to get much use and joy out of them."

"I have owned several of these collars and they have proven to be extremely durable, yet easy on my birddog's neck. The only complaint I would have is that the tough webbing does not allow the collar to be easly buckled, no matter how many times it has been on and off my dogs. That said, I would not redesign the collar for that one negative point."

"I was given the collar for my Lab as a Father's day present. The next weekend i put it on her for a trip to Kansas to preview the area i will be hunting this fall. The name plate broke off the collar the first day. I will never buy another one. On that note, I did buy a collar from here for my dogs mother that was really great and its still in good condition, I wish I knew what brand it was...... Jim"

"I am disappointed with the quality of the ID collars I recently purchased. I've used one of them for only a couple of weeks and the ID band has already come completely off the collar. I am surprised this collar has received a high rating from other customers. I am going to attempt to rivet the ID band back onto the collar with washers on the facing side, but I'm not confident this will be a lasting solution."

"These are great collars. I have two lab puppies who are 8 months old and test everything to the max. The name tag comes off to easily. The rivets needs to be stronger. With a little rough play they pull right out. Other than that they are great collars: strong webbing, tough buckles and rings, and easy to see on my labs. If the rivets were stronger, I'd never buy any other collar."

"The yellow diamond pattern is deffinately "High Vis ' , easy to see at a distance in cover or out in the field . The product is easy manetinence, washes clean and drys well . The dog seems to find it comfortable to wear ,and having the O ring makes it simple and quick to clip the leash on in a hurry .An all round winner !"
