By MarkA70

"These shells work VERY well for me in my AyA 4/53, 28 gauge. I use them on Blue Quail in West Texas. These are tough birds that flush wild. The Super X will Put Them Down, for sure!"

Great Product,
January 12, 2008
By rgeslick

"I have been shooting these for the past 4 years and have found them to be excellent in every respect. I shoot the #7 1/2 and #5 2 3/4 inch from both my Benelli SBE and also from a Remington 1100 without misfires or problems of any type. Mostly utilizing these for dove and pheasant. Also shoot the #5 shot 2 3/4 inch from a 20 gauge Citori White Lightning for pheasant and # 7 1/2 for dove. These shells are second to none for the money."

Nothing Better!,
October 27, 2007
By Hectorskat
from Maine, Master Maine Guide for 40 years
|
"The is the most versitile and perfect game load for upland game. Woodcock and Partridge are helpless against the performance of this load. I just ordered my last case yesterday. I have been using this load for 20 years and never had any desire to try somethind different. This is the first review I have ever written ( and probably my last) but I feel strongly about this product! Rarely a lost bird!"

Knock 'em down,
March 30, 2007
By RickW
from Tennessee--hunt deer, duck, dove, quail and turkey
|
"I use this shell in 28ga for quail hunting. The 1oz of #7 1/2 provides great knock down power. I have tried several other 28ga shells in various configurations of shot size and weight (all high brass) and none compare with this round."

"As long as I have been busting upland birds I have depended on only a few brands of ammunition. Winchester Super-X is without a doublt one of the best. Try them on your next bird hunting expedition, you'll be impressed!"

Winchester Super X,

By skinbear

"In shooting a 20 ga for upland game, the high brass 2 3/4 dram, 1 oz loads is far superior than the cheap bargan loads. Spend a couple more bucks and injoy more birds."

16 Ga heavy loads,
November 20, 2006
By ES06
from Corvallis, Or
|
"Chukkar hunting in Oregon is an uphill game and the weather can be cold so when you get a shot you want the power and shot size (#6) to get the job done. The shells worked as expected over this last weekend in Halfway, Or.
The local sporting and hunting stores don't carry 16 Ga shells in the heavy loads and they don't have the shot size selection.
sincerely,
ES06"
