"sling is nicely padded and the leather is very nice as well but my only complaint is that the stitched picture of the 10 point buck is kinda cartoon looking. looks a little comical. but it's good quality sling nonetheless."

"I purchased this sling for a friend of mine who deer hunts with me. He uses a bolt action slug gun with a scope that tops the scales at 11 pounds. I got this sling for him and now I want one for my gun too. It is also made in america and looks and feels like it will last forever. Just remember to buy the swivels if you do not have them already. My buddy loves how padded and secure the sling is. Think I am going to ask for one for christmas."

Great Traditional Sling at a Great Price,December 2, 2008

"I really like this sling. It is comfortable, easy to install and adjust and just looks neat on my Marlin 336 lever-action. It gives a sort of traditional look to a older-style deer rifle. Very thick leather too so I would be very surprised to see it wear out any time soon."

"Compared to the other slings I've owned this one is the best by a long shot. I carried my scoped 30-06 for 4 days hunting mule deer in southwestern SD (est. 30 miles walking) and another 6 days in central SD hunting whitetail. This sling was very comfortable for the entire time.
When I did sit early/late - I liked how easy it was to adjust the sling short so it didn't interfere with my shooting sticks.
So far the durability seems very good with some fairly rough treatment the sling shows now sign of wear.
Finally - the directions said to add glue to the holding screws but I didn't have glue when I put on the sling. I finally remembered to checked after the season and the screws were still tight. I will add glue just in case."

"I have been a Cabalas fan for years buying this and that for my various fancies and my most recent buy was a rifle for deer hunting, and I was suggested by a friend to buy a sling also. So naturally I went to the web site that has provided me so much over the years, and found something that just screamed buy me, and yes it was the white tail cushion sling. I first put it on my Remington 700 and fell in love with the way it looked on my gun, but I was still skeptical yes it looked pretty but do I really need the cushion of that sling or was it just a bluff buy. To my surprise not only did it look good it was a life saver. The cushion of the sling saved my shoulder from the weight of a mile hike to my site and not to mention the enhanced aesthetics when it was lying next to my gun in the picture of my 8 pt. buck. This was a great product in both functionality and aesthetics. I would suggest it to anyone."
