"I shopped around for a few weeks prior to making a decision. I followed the directions and used a spray adhesive after cutting out the recesses for the rifles. It makes a solid platform to transport the rifles. It was used to haul two rifles on a Colorado elk hunting trip with no problem at all…tough enough to withstand baggage handling...an outstanding value."

"My husband and I often travel up to Alberta. It seemed like we had to buy a case every year, so we decided to buy the pelican case for life time warranty.
We used it last week week and it traveled nicely! It held both of our shotguns and returned home in it's original condition (give or take a few minor scratches). It was a little more than we wanted to spend, but definitely worth every penny."

"I bought this case because the old one did not survive a car wreck. A recent review in a Hunting/Shooting magazine convinced me that this was the case to own. I followed the directions and fitted two shotguns in it for an upcoming hunt in October 08. They don’t move a bit. The only draw back is that when you switch guns you have to start with a new piece of foam in the center if they differ in shape from the previous guns. Pelican sells replacement foam so no issue really. The handles, wheels and clasps are all very stout. I wish it came with TSA locks. I had to buy those separately. If you care about your equipment, Pelican is the only way to go."

"I bought the Pelican rifle case to take on a Caribou hunt in Alaska. I was quite worried the 4 flights it would take to get to my destination would damage my rifle or scope, or both for that matter. 4 flights later, everything was still dead on. 2 of my hunting companions had their metal cases severely damaged by baggage handlers. My Pelican has some scars, but no damage. The only complaint could be the need to cut the foam to fit your firearms... but the work is worth it. Great fit for your firearms, and great protection as well. I highly recommend this gun case."

"excellent product, looks incredibly solid. Cutting the interior foam is a bit of trouble, but a good sharp pocket knife took care of it. With that done, cases close nicely, and I don't think you can get any better protection ......You do need to do the foam cut-out, or the center layer of foam creates so much pressure it is very hard to close the case."

"Quite sturdy and good looking, latches work great, handles are comfortable, rolls along nicely. Glad they offer it in something other than black. All my friends are impressed with the quality. The only gripe would be that they should cut one of the foam layers in a "Pick Pattern" so that it would be easier to customize the interior. I went to the foam shop and got some precut foam to fit. I think that I will go back and get another piece so that I will have two different choices depending on what I wish to carry at the time."

"I have used Pelican products in the past and have never had complaints. After inspecting this case it proves to be of the same quality. I would trust any rifle to Pelican protection. No worries about dents, or dings. The airlines and pack trips can do their worst but I will have few worries with this case. It is a bit heavy but the wheels make up for it. Great product!"
