"I have a 4inch Dan Wesson to use for Conceal Carry and this holster is excellent. It keeps it close to your body and is high on the belt for great concealment. I would recomend this holster either revolver or auto to anyone. It is a top quality leather and will last a life time. Buy it you will like it."

"This is a really nice holster, that fits my Smith and Wesson 1911 5 inch like a glove. It allows plenty of room for the target sights, and fits the rest of the gun exactly. You can carry your 1911 cocked or uncocked with this holster. This holster is expensive, but worth it. You get what you pay for, and it is American made as it should be. Are they paying me for this?? - just kidding!"

"Having served in the USN for 4 years where I qualified with the 1911 service pistol, and 35 years in a major metropolitan PD during which I owned many holsters, I can without reservations highly recommend this product. It fits my Sig Saur 1911 target model perfectly. Furthermore, its safety strap allows for condition 1 (cocked and locked) or condition 2 or 3 (hammer down) no problem. Like any quality holster it needs some breaking in to mold to your piece, but once that is done it fits very nicely indeed. Galco also includes information on the proper break in and maintenance to insure that the owner will have many years of service. As to the other reviewer who commented that the illustration depicting condition 1 was misleading, I can only assume that he had not properly broken in his example. Again, this is a quality product and does what they say and I am as happy as a clam to have purchased it for under 100 bucks."

"The Glock 23 fit was very tight, so drawing the pistol was very difficult. The strap that was supposed to secure the butt of the weapon was almost impossible to snap or open with one hand. Even allowing for some stretching over time, it did not appear that this holster was made to fit a Glock 23."

"Fits great. Rides High and comfortable. Easy to pull, and reholster. I carry my Springfield Armory 1911 Mil-Spec in the holster cocked and locked. Very secure carry. Thumbstrap goes over back of slide with hammer cocked or over back of hammer if carried empty chamber hammer-down."

"This holster just seems to blend into the body. I am licensed to carry concealed and it makes a four inch barrel revolver disappear. All other holsters were either uncomfortable and hard to use or, were too bulky and would not conceal."

"I have been using the F.L.E.T.C.H. holster for several days now. I am very pleased with the holster design and feel. It looks great! It fits the Ruger SR9 quite well - no need to purchase it at a premium from Ruger's website. Works great for concealed carry if you have a dress shirt un-tucked."

"The two reviews that state that you cannot carry a 1911 condition 1 are wrong. THe holster does exactly what it states in the discription. You have to carry the pistol "cocked and locked" (or condition one as properly know) or it will not fit properly. If you don't cary it condition one, you may risk an accidental discharge. The product performs as advertised and I do recomment it to others."

"This looks like a quality holster. Unfortunately, I had to return it because contrary to the photo on the website, it is not designed to allow you to carry a 1911 cocked and locked. If you try to manipulate the strap around the hammer it releases the safety.
I should have believed the other reviewer rather then trusting the photo!!"
