This is my 2nd set of Nikon Action Binos,

"These binoculars are great quality for the money and the field of view is just outstanding. I have an older 10X power Action, (not the waterproof Extreme) and left them in a Deer stand during heavy rain - took 3 days of drying, but they still work great now. I purchased the 12X Action Extreme for their magnification and that they are waterproof. I use the old set to carry on the dash in my pickup during hunting season and have for several years. I use the 12X for hunting if it's not a long hike. What I like most about them is how easy it is to capture what you are looking at very quickly and they have good light gathering. A good quailty bino at good price - also fantastic for Football games.
I've tried the high dollar Binos and I like these even better.
Little to big and heavy for serious hiking while hunting. Highly recommended for bird watching or to have on hand around the farm."

"These binoculars are a "best buy". Crystal clear, sharp image and good light gatheriing. Only set I own that I don't have to remove my eyeglasses to use. Haven't gotten them wet, yet, but am very pleased with their performance so far."

"I love the fact that my bino's can zoom in on an image. They work good, but when zooming in it gets alittle blury. I wish they were also fog proof and water proof. Other than that these bino's work pretty good."

"you want the spend big bucks for binos go ahead,but these work just as the $ 2000.oo i lowe them i used them in 7 degree fah. weather and they did not fog up that was my concern all along, great job nikon"

"We've been very pleased with these binoculars. The light gathering ability and clarity of the image at distances, including craters on the moon when using the included tripod adaptor, are better then any binoculars I've had to date. My wife likes them because they are adaptable to her glasses. I think that they are an excellent value for the money."

"The product was delivered as advertised, right on time. For the investment these are very nice. Clarity is great and there is enough light to keep it bright and distinct. I expected these to be heavy, but they are not and are very easily balanced.
I have not and will not test the waterproof feature on purpose, but am very comforted to know the rating is there.
The case is a little chincy, but who cares. Nice product!"

"I debated for several weeks, and did some research on both the Action and Action Extreme binoculars. The Action Extreme are advertised as fogproof and waterproof. This was important to me, but the Action Extreme pair were about 50% more expensive. I purchased the Action Extreme, but am very disappointed in that they are not fogproof at all. I have another pair of Nikons that are about 10 years old. They were not advertised as fogproof. I can tell no difference between the new pair that are supposed to be fogproof and the old pair that are not."
