"these are great binoculars for most uses. you can focus at 10x, and zoom to 20x easily with the lever. I am not an expert on binoculars, but the zoom to 20x makes these better than anything else I looked at. The price is very reasonable also."

"You can't beat the High power of these. My friend's with their little binoculars at long distance's can't tell if a small buck is a Doe or not, where I can. And I'll tell them how many points it has. This is all the proof I need, And why I bought the zoom one's. They've been tested in the field, and all weather conditions and work Great. Nikon makes a great product. I also own a Nikon spotting scope, and a Nikon Camera. And have had Great luck with all."

"Just got rid of these after four years. They served their purpose, but I got used to holding my breath because they fog up easily in the cold. This deer season they became useless on opening day because it was cold and rainy. They took three days to dry out inside. You get what you pay for, so I bought some Leupold binos this time."

"This is a great pair of bino's. I love the fact that they are water proof and fog proof. I haven't and will try not to try if they are water proff, but they DO NOT fog up. When scouting and while in the field, low light conditions are awesome. I couldn't even see the deer to the naked eye but while glassing, you can see even more. It amazes me the quality and clearity. I will not buy another pair of cheap bino's."

"Bought the 8x40 action Bino's for deer hunting in northern California. I took them to Montana Oct.08 and put them through a little more abuse. My son and I hunted Elk/deer in S/W Montana. I took along a friend of mine's 15x45x50 Leoupold spotting scope for long range viewing. From high of 69 degrees to lows of around 25 degrees I had no problems with eather of the optics. Now I am going to buy the 16x50's then I will not need the spotting scope. I can see better with bino's than spotting scopes but that is just me.."

"I had these in 8x40 on a Montana Elk hunt. The weather was cool and rainy, and these binoculars were constantly fogging up. My father luckily had the Nikon Action Extreme binocs with that functioned fine. These are clear in the store and under perfect conditions, I would not recommend these for outdoor use."

"These binoculars are awesome in low light conditions and with the 16x50 I can almost see the whiskers on the deer from 400 yards away. Only downside is the weight, I would recommend a harness with these. Price is great also!"
