Great,September 22, 2009
By swampdonkeypocketrocketsfrom Michigan
"These cut the wind entirely, in 0 degree MI weather i only wore long johns under them and was fine, even in the gusting wind. Watch out for briers though as they are thin and look easy to tear even though I haven't."

Excellent Product,January 26, 2009
By Uplander12gafrom Bradford, PA
"I purchase both the parka and the pants in the Mossy Oak Winter Break Up pattern for late season coyote hunts. I wear both over top of my carhart bibs and coat and have been more than comfortable for 4+ hours in sub-zero temps sitting right in the snow. Couldn't ask for better performance. Appears to be very durable for the seven times I've worn it. A+++ product"

By crackyfrom ny bow and deer hunter
"The camo pattern is outstanding in the snow. They were on sale for excellent price. Used them for snow blowing in upstate ny. They are easy to get on and off. They are not warm but seem to keep you dry. Wear with wool pants they will be great during muzzleloading season."

Great gear,June 1, 2008
By Figmanfrom West Seneca, NY
"I bought a great MT 050 Whitetail Extreme snow suit two years ago and getting cold while sitting in my stand in Western New York became a thing of the past. I wanted to take advantage of the suit by using a coverup to get a different camo pattern. I bought the parka and pants in Mossy Oak Winter that fit over my existing suit just fine. I took a buck my first winter using the suit. I was able to stand in a very thin row of trees out on the edge of a large farm field where the deer cross well out of gun range from any edge of the woods. The buck looked right at me, tried to get me to move, finally put his head down to graze on some shaggy hickory nuts and gave me a chance for the shot. I use the snow camo for winter goose as well and it works like a charm. Its rain gear and snow camo, and it will save you money on additional cold weather gear. This gear is awesome !!"

Great Camo,February 18, 2008
By clearwaterfrom Upstate, NY
"I bought the parka and pants primarily to hunt coyotes and fox in the winter. I live in upstate NY and the camo pattern is so sniper deadly when hunting from a hedge row or on the edge of a wood lot. Both the parka and pants have kept me dry while sitting in the snow. Two "downsides" I've found is that the material does get noisy when walking in briars and the briars love to sink into the fabric. The other is that they do not breathe at all (but they do dry quick) and moisture collects on the inside. Perfect for the price!"

Think again,February 12, 2008
By Anonymousfrom North Dakota
"These pants are not what I need. Although they are well made, there are a few major problems. First, they are burr magnets. Second and most important, for me at least they do not breath at all. It is like wearing a sauna suit. I am going to return them and get the one with a dry plus lining. Problem is, you can't get them until about next fall."

Good purchase!,February 8, 2008
By jdl1from Oklahoma
"Light weight and easy to pack. I liked it so well I ordered a different camo pattern after receiving the first one. The zippers on the legs could be a bit longer, however, I don't have to remove my boots to put the pants on or take them off."

Cabela's Coverup Pants and Parka,January 7, 2008
By Toilerfrom Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan
"I purchased the coverup parka and the pants to use hunting waterfowl and deer in the South Central and East Saskatchewan areas. The latest version purchased last fall is wind and water resistant and was very comfortable. In Farmland Gold pattern it was very effective hunting ducks and geese. I only got three days use in the field and only one of them had slightly adverse conditions. I would recommend these two items to anyone who hunts waterfowl in a prairie environment. In 2000 I purchased the white version to use hunting whitetail and mule deer in Saskatchewan. Again, I found it very useful. As part of the layering system I use for all hunting both performed very well. One of my hunting partners is already considering purchasing the same gear for next season. I look forward to giving the Farmland Gold a full season's use in the Fall 08 migratory bird hunting season. The whites have already proven themselves while laying out in open fields and having deer almost stepping on me while they were feeding. My partner is also considering whites for deer and coyote hunting in the Fall 08 season. The only improvement I have made was to add buttons to attach suspenders to the pants as I don't like clip-ons, otherwise they are excellent sets for their intended purpose."

Great to walk in!,January 28, 2007
By MrAdventurefrom Kalispell, MT
"I just HAPPILY used these, with the matching parka for an Alaska "late/snow" goat hunt. What the other reviewers said good about them- Is TRUE! 1. Another feature I really liked, was that they have a loose loop net mesh lining- They do not cling! 2. Also- Flaps over slash pockets, kept weather out! WELL DESIGNED!
One note!- Retie their "loose" draw string knots, with a "tight" figure 8... knot!"

White Waterproof Pants,November 30, 2006
By IdahoRogerfrom Western Idaho
""I use this, along with its companion parka, for goose and predator work in the snowy areas. This is the pure white one which you'll need if you hunt the solid white goose fields and predator environments. I went with the waterproof model to keep from having to double up with a waterproof layer underneath that might show through when wet. Well pleased with this item. The pants are cut large to fit over your regular insulated clothing. Drawstring closure at the waist with slash openings for access to your underneath clothing. The pants have knee-length zippers for easy on and off. Does the white camo job just fine and keeps you dry at the same time. It seems to be pretty heavy duty as well and should hold up under field conditions for years of usage.""

Special Permit Hunt Success,November 30, 2006
By DeerBrother1from Auburn, WA
""We hunted the rut for Muleys in Washington State on a special permit hunt that we waited 8 years for. Sage, snow and aspen thickets. Spoted the buck at 1000 yards and I was able to get within 30 yards of this deer. I'm convinced that this magnificant snow camo with the Mossey Oak pattern was the biggest contributor to the close proximity I was able to attain. I was wearing the parka and the pants. I moved very very slow and simply blended into the elements. It's quiet, light weight and it kept me very dry to boot. I wore it for 5 days straight and a few days it snowed all day. What can I say, the deer was facing me most of the time and I can say without a doubt we would not have harvested him without this camo. Thanks so much!!!!!""
