Wildfowler Outfitter Waterproof Coverup Parka

To stay hidden from the keen eyes of waterfowl, sometimes you have to get down and dirty. Staying low and blending with the cornstalks or stubble field usually entails molding to the soggy ground. These 100% waterproof cover suit parkas will melt you into the landscape and keep your insulating garments from absorbing rain, dew and snow. Aside from being waterproof, the polyurethane-coated windproof tricot shell will stand up to hunting abuse. Taped seams offer an extra measure of protection against moisture. Each is oversized to fit over bulky insulating clothing. The parka has two front slash-style pockets with room for gear and your hands. It also has a zippered front with snap-over storm flap and elastic cuffs. A hood seals out moisture and wind. Imported. Sizes: M-3XL. Colors/Camo patterns: White, Mossy Oak? Winter?, FarmLand? Gold, FarmLand? Corn Belt?.

"I own everything this company makes.
Simple and to the point design.
They're not expensive and hold up very well.
I can blend into any environment with absolute ease.

I also use them frequently to cover up guest hunters. Not everybody has a complete set of camo. Tell them to dress in warm layers and toss them a set of these cover ups.

I'm here to testify that I play hard ...this stuff gets the thumbs up !!!!"

"I love this jacket, it is the perfect light weight for mild days or even for adding a waterproof layer over other clothing. My other half (who is a guide) has this jacket also and wears it all the time hunting ducks in the Dakotas. I had to have mine altered because the men's medium is not suitable for a size small woman but it turned out perfect."

"I bought the parka and pants in the winter break-up pattern, to use as late-season cover-ups for big game hunts. Although, I've not used them in the field yet, I'm very pleased with the puchase. They offer good value, given the high qualtiy and reasonable price. The fabric is quiet, which is not always easy to find in "waterproof" laminate fabrics. One consideration is that sizing seems to be on the small size, so you may want to order a size larger than you would otherwise, especially if worn over insulating layers."

"this jacket is a great asset to your waterfowl gear. its lightweight, packable, and waterproof. its probably not the right rain gear for a long day sitting in boat in the rain, but perfect for light rain in a duck blind or pit blind. I also found the corn camo to blend in very well with grass and the corn we hunted."

"I got the snow cammo version for coyote hunting, it was lighter- weight than I expected for a "parka" but makes a good waterproof cover-up. I wore Carhart jacket under it and was plenty warm on a cold night strong wind. For the price it was a pretty good deal."

"Coat is great for waterfowling. It has all of the normal wind blocker and waterproof materials but I have never had another coat that when the sleeve cuffs got wet, it doesnt bother me. They seem to self dry very quickly. Good product at a good price."

"Farmland Corn pattern blends in absolutely seemlessly when hunting in corn stubble. The sizing runs very small though, for a "coverup", so order a couple sizes larger. I usually wear a large tall so i bought an XL to be on the safe side. WAY too small if i want to wear anything warm underneath it. Arms are too short also. I am reordering for a 2xl or even 3xl."

"The coat is a very good over coat, and the water proofing really helps keep the wind off you. I only rate it a 4 because I feel the farmland gold camo pattern should be a little darker in color. It tends to not blend in with dead grass along shores and fields so well. Overall I am very pleased."

"i bought these as an over garment for late season goose hunting, and they are awesome! excellent camo pattern, soft and quiet and yet they do repel water and keep you dry and warm. they are sized big, i planned on wearing them over other clothes and the large was still too big, had to downsize to a medium for the pants, so keep that in mind when ordering, but overall i'm very pleased with the product. i'm actually considering getting another camo pattern for rainy day archery hunts."

Snow Camo, June 1, 2008

"I bought a great MT 050 Whitetail Extreme snow suit two years ago and getting cold while sitting in my stand in Western New York became a thing of the past. I wanted to take advantage of the suit by using a coverup to get a different camo pattern. I bought the parka and pants in Mossy Oak Winter that fit over my existing suit just fine. I took a buck my first winter using the suit. I was able to stand in a very thin row of trees out on the edge of a large farm field where the deer cross well out of gun range from any edge of the woods. The buck looked right at me, tried to get me to move, finally put his head down to graze on some shaggy hickory nuts and gave me a chance for the shot. I use the snow camo for winter goose as well and it works like a charm. Its rain gear and snow camo, and it will save you money on additional cold weather gear. This gear is awesome !!"

"Great jacket. Perfect for layering over a parka. Great to wear alone as a light jacket. Very comfortable. Only draw back is the camo patterns avaliable. If it came in a hardwood camo pattern it would be a 5."

"This product fully meets its product description. It's quiet, waterproof, and sized large enough to allow an insulating layer to be worn underneath without it being overly large. The garment works very well but I did find that it would trap a fair bit of moisture when I was hiking through deep snow. It'd be nice to have a means of effective venting for during periods of greater physical activity. I'm 6', 190 lb. and am wearing the XL size."
