"Good little whistle, I purchased it for a friend who is reluctant to blow a conventional duck call. The disappointment was a lack of instruction for use on teal ducks. Also, as all of you teal duck hunters know, there is precious little time to call (softly) when teal ducks are corkscrew flying at 60 mph, so it has not proven itself just yet. Sure as dickens makes a great loud whistle if you happen to get lost though!!!"

"It's a whistle. No reed involved. I suppose in it's defense I could say that I'm not a hunter, nor am I a professional duck caller but I know in my childhood I had a duck "call" & it pretty much sounded like a duck. This "whistle" if used properly might imitate the quiet sound of a duckling peeping."

"In our region, this call is the perfect way to lure in those shy mallard drakes that circle the pond just out of range.
Used one for our last Season, and bought another couple for friends.
The first Saturday in May is the opening of our duck hunting, and I look forward to being able to lure the greenheads onto the end of the barrel with this call!!!!!"

"I have two, one for me and one for my 7 year old daughter to use. She called in a nice GWT with it her first time in the blind and it gives her something to keep her interested.. Late season it works great on well educated ducks."

"This call is very easy to use. It is great to start learning. Made to call wigeon, teal, pintail, and mallard.
The Primos High Roller has superior sound in all except the mallard. The open end of the MP-90 allows greater modulation. This call is also much louder than the High Roller.
Overall, the High Roller is more versatile and a much better call."
