Stern Light Weak,August 2, 2009
By Anonymousfrom Ohio
"This is a bad design. The light is too heavy for the pole and clamp. The pole is too weak to support it and the clamp is awful. I had to modify the whole thing to make it work in my boat. Yuck"

"The cheap plastic clamps on these lights are pure junk. The bow light broke on the first trip out and the stern light on the second trip. Would be better with a metal clamp."

"These lights are good if you need some night-time nav lights for easy use. Not incredibly durable though so be careful with them."

Camo lights,August 13, 2007
By wolfb4ufrom Pullman, WA
"I got these lights and took the bow light out straight away. I put batteries in and turned it on all was good. It got dark and I turned it on and it never worked again. The stern light was way more difficult to put batteries in than I would like especially having a hand with no real feeling. I'm sure it is easier having a third hand. I have returned these and will find another type or style to use in the future."

Portable Navigation Lights,July 29, 2007
By BWMcfrom PA
"First I had placed my order for the LED version and recieved the regular bulb ones. Disappointed with that but figured I would try them. First bow light did not work and had to return for new one. Could not switch lamp position of the bow light on the clamp to have the opening pointing down for my jon boat (the stern light was easily converted). The weight of the D batteries in the stern light (versus the aa in the LED version which I am sure is lighter) makes it very top heavy and wobbly. With that the plastic clamp cracked with one use. Good idea but this product needs refinement."
