"I originally purchased these as a work sock for my husband who is in work boots all day long, and now ordered more. Generally he would not wear a sock that is mid-calf, as they fall below the boot line. It is difficult buying tube socks for him that will (1) fit his height (2) stay up. Because of the other reviews that these socks will stay up, we decided to give it a try. Although they are mid-calf, they stay up. For this alone, this sock deserves 5 stars. The reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because the heels have worn out exceptionally fast. The first set of socks, purchased only a few months ago, have already worn out in the heel."

"I found these socks to be very comfortable and durable. They have not shrunk in the wash, stretched after wearing and have not let sweat and leather stain them. They allow for good circualtion of air. The only thing is I am a size 12 and I ordered the large which are just a little tight but after wearing them a few times I got use to them, next time I will order the extra large. Overall a great work sock."

"I didn't know what to expect for the price. And until I washed them I wasn't sure I had the great bargain I thought I purchased...but after two or three wearings I can tell you they hold up well, are comfortable and warm and don't shrink. "I ve used these socks before and they are heavy duty socks.I learned that I d rather pay a little more for good socks because they last longer in the longrun.Size XL is also hard to find.I once bought a multipack of discount socks(12 pr for 8.99)after one or two washes they started to wear at the toe and wash two they had holes.These are also thicker and more comfortable.Whatever I ve bought from Cabelas is good quality,and if you have a problem Customer svc. is easy to reach and willing to help you."
