"great binos for the money. always been a bushnell fan, but, have to admit, have regretted a choice from time to time. but these have done well. i bought these for short range scanning and hunting. there not made for long range target/tactical purposes, but they dont carry that price tag either. i gave them 4 instead of 5 because the protective eye caps are worthless. i have the h2o series in the compact and full size and are happy with both."

"Easy to operate, fairly lightweight and a nice clear field of view. For the money an all around good value though they may be too heavy for long term hauling like distance backpacking or long-term, multi day hunts."

"Overall, I was very happy with these binoculars. They are sturdy, easy to handle, and not very heavy. I also liked the fact that they were water proof. One of the things I did not like was the eye protectors. The eye lenses have plastic eye protectors that can be rotated out so your eye ball does not rest on the lense. The problem with the protectors is they do not hold in place very well and can easy rotate back down to a closed postion. If you are trying to get a quick look through the binoculars you find yourself hitting your eye on the lense, or having to adjust the protector back out."

"I orderd the some binocluars at about the same price and when I got them they were broken. when I called they took them back no questions asked and repaced them with another set. I would recomend these to anyone for hunting or bird watching and stick with cabels they will treat you right."
