"Buy this hose w/regulator not the less expensive hose w/o regulator. You do not need a filter with this, it will not fit on it anyway. Use 30# tank, much more economical & you will not need to get up in the middle of the night to change bottles. Just be patient when trying to light the pilot because it takes a minute or two for the gas to get down that 12' of hose."

"Works great with my big buddy heater. I keep the 20# tank in the vestibule and run it into my 12 X 12 Alaknak II tent. This allows for continious heat with out the need to wake up and change the 1# canisters."

"For me getting this hose was a safety issue. The 12 foot length allows for placement of a bulk propane tank safely outside and threading the hose through a slightly opened door or window to the heater. With the regulator outside "at the tank" if a leak occurs inside it will be at a lower pressure and NOT the high pressure experienced using the cheaper non regulated bulk hoses. Neither would be good but if I had to choose I'd take the low pressure leak."

"This quick connect 12’ hose worked really great and was easy to connect. Even better, it can be stored underneath in the big buddy storage compartment with a little work.
