"This is a necessity for those buying the Mr Buddy heater. It will power the internal fan and save a lot of time and frustration over having to buy/search for replacement batteries all the time. Although not inexpensive, you get your money back quickly over having to buy four D-cell batteries every other day.
The only problem I found with this adapter is that the connector is very small and can be easily broken. You will forget that the adapter is connected, pick up the heater and start carrying it off and, voila, the connector will do one of two things, either break or pull out. The most likely scenario will be that the adapter plug will break. This isn't a problem with the adapter, it's a problem with the heater design. Mr. Heater should redesign the entire AC jack and plug to follow the Apple MacBook computer battery charger system. They use a magnetic system that is fabulous and if the charger cord is pulled (from any direction) the magnetic connector simply pulls away from the computer, no harm no foul."

"I connected this heater to a 20 lb. propane bottle in a 2 car garage I use as a work shop at times. It was 18° outside and 31° in the garage when I turned the heater on. In less than an hour it was 60° in the garage. Although it did not get any warmer that was warm enough and actually quite good considering the drafty garage. The heater was quiet and did not smell. I installed a co2 and gas detecter in the garage and there was not a hint of anything harmful. Great product. Take away the drafty garage doors and this heater would keep the garage at 70° easily."

"So far we are pleased w/the heater. We do like that it can be used w/o elect. because ours goes out a lot here in Maine! We are using this as a suppliment to our oil furnace due to high oil prices. We like that is does not smell or smoke and has good safety features. We did put a 18 x18 tile under it because while it does not heat up floor or walls on sides or behind, it does get the floor very hot directly in front of the heater. The battery powered blower is kind of wimpy, but if you can plug it in, the blower works great....."

"PRUCHASED THIS HEATER TO HEAT A CAMPING TRAILER SINCE THE ORGINAL CAMPER HEATER NO LONGER WORKED. THIS HEATER DID MORE THAN I EXPECTED. THE OUTSIDE TEMPS WERE AROUND LOW TEENS TO MID TO UPPER TWENTIES AND THIS HEATER PERFORMED GREAT. NOT ONLY DID IT KEEP THE CAMPING TRAILER WARM I HAD TO KEEP IT ON LOW BECAUSE MED TEMP AND HIGH WAS TOO HOT. GREAT PRODUCT. i WOULD SUGGEST IF ELECTRICITY IS AVAILABLE TO PRUCHASE THE ADAPTER TO RUN THE SMALL BLOWER."

"This is an absolute must-have accessory to the Mr. Heater Big Buddy. If you want heat generating throughout your tent or home the fan blower needs to be on and this really saves batteries.
Just this week my heater went out in the home and the Mr. Heater Big Buddy ended up being a blessing to have on hand. I placed it in a 20 x 30 room, and it took the chill out of the air and even warmed up the room nicely but to do such a large room the blower needed to be on."
