Breaks after the 1st training,

"I have a 45 pound Barbet and Ive trained him for the last two year...he is VERY gentle and carry....After the 1st tarining the rod broke because the dog turn himself in he bling wich is the nromal thing to do since he is entering by the front door. DONT TOUCH THIS PRODUCT !!"

"Have used my blind for over 5 years. Hunt geese daily in WI winter. Hunt Snows in S. Dak each year. Blind has worked flawlessly. Dogs are 70 lb male Lab & 65 lb female Lab. They love it. Nothing like that contiuous "thump, thump, thump" to keep you alert."

"When I unpacked the blind upon its arrival from the store, the plastic joint was busted & non-repairable. If you read some of the other reveiws, you will see that the broken plastic joints & rods are a common problem."

Great for a Jack Russell,

"This Blind is set up pretty well and very fast. However, i have 3 labs and all very in size, 1 in 110# English Lab and he can barely get his head in it, the next is a 85# English Lab and he cant turn around, and the last is a 60# American Lab but I cant get him to sit still in it long enough. So for the little Lab it could work perfect, but English Labs that can handle Geese and the ones that I use for for Waterfoul, it will not work. I do not recomand this for any lab larger then a 60# Dog."

"After using the avery dog blind this past season, I'm impressed with the quality and durability of this product. It preformed well in all weather conditions. It also is roomy enough for a 95 pound Labrador. Overall, a good high quality product for a decent price."

"VERY EASY & FAST SET UP TAKE/DOWN. I PUT A SUPER MAG GOOSE SHELL ON TOP TO HELP HIDE. TRIAL TESTING AT HOME ONLY TOOK A DOG TREAT FOR 6 MONTH OLD "JAKE THE DOG" TO ENTER. A FEW PRACTICES DURING THE WEEK & HE WAS READY TO HUNT THE WEEKEND. MY DOG IS WELL COVERED WITH HIS HEAD STICKING OUT TO WATCH BIRDS. WE HARVESTED 24 BIRDS THIS SEASON & ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT."

Easily breaks and too small!,

"My 60lb English Lab could not even turn around once inside the thing she freaked out and after some coaxing I was able to get her to lay down.
She took to my boat ladder, tree stand and ramp in and out of my blind on the bay.
I would suggest getting something that has opening on both ends."

"IT's a good product, Easy to set up, light, compact, but my dog is about 90 pounds and is tall so it's been kind of hard to fit him in it, but he probably just needs some more training."

"The front glass rod broke after about the fifth training session,I contacted the company and sent them the blind back. They replaced it with a knew blind, this time both front rods broke and I am now taking it back to cabelas for a refund. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BLIND. The glass rods do not hold up to the stress they are put under."

"I bought the Avery Finisher Dog Blind for my brother and his dog. It is a great blind! The Avery Finisher Dog Blind not only sets up easy, but it collapses just as easy, and hardly takes up any room in the truck.
Not only does it keep his dog out of sight in the feild, but it has been a great training tool at home as well. We use the blind in the house to train the dog to lay in it when we are eating dinner. I would highly recommend the Avery Finisher Dog Blind to anyone looking for a blind for their dog!"

"I like the finisher dog blind, it is made very well and during training and on the hunts that I have used it has performed perfectly. I can see it lasting for many years. The material and construction are quality and it sets up and comes down in seconds.
The only gripe, if there is one, is they should have made the bag a little bigger. If you want to leave stubble on the blind and fold it up it has a really tough time fitting in the bag. Without stubble it fits in there well though."
