Worst gloves ever,
November 28, 2008
By br549mitch
from Indiana
|
"These gloves are terrible. Nothing Gore-Tex about them. Fit is on the small side. Wore them first day of deer seson this year. Steady rain for 3 hours the goves did not keep out any moisture. They were so wet inside it was difficult to remove them. The liner bunched up also. These gloves are a waste of money."

These gloves are FAR below Cabela's Norm!,
April 14, 2008
By Bulletbuilder
|
"Long story short, I returned these gloves. They didn't come close to being the right size. Men's large fit my 120 wife and I couldn't get my hand in them. I've been buying from Cabela's for more years than I can remember and this is the first time that I got anything that wasn't top quality. The gloves these were to replace were Cabela's gloves that were 9 years or so old and they had worn like iron! This sure isn't a real cold weather glove I don't think either. Sure won't stop shopping at Cabela's. Just don't want any more of this model glove!"

trigger finger to big,

By 96warrior

"I cant shoot with them on! the leather they put around the trigger finger is useless. If the trigger finger did not have the wrap around it it would be better. They are nice and warm and water proof but I cant shoot with them"

great gloves,
January 29, 2008
By johndeere1
from syracuse new york
|
"these are great gloves very warm i live in upstate new york it may not be the coldest up here but it regularly gets down to the single digits. i've owned at least 30 pairs of hunting gloves in my life many of them with more thinsulate than these but none of them have performed as well as the stalker shooting gloves they run a little fat in the fingers so if you have long skinny fingers order a size down if you want a tight fit like i do"

Good Product, Good Price,
January 8, 2008
By dbryda
from Phoenix, AZ
|
"While archery javelina hunting in Southern AZ, found the gloves to offer good warmth in 40-50degF weather in the AM transitioning to warmer 60-65 degF weather in the PM.
A bit tough to try to get a wrist release around, but possible as long as you're not trying to do so quietly. I did find the rubberized palm to be a bit squeeky on the laminate bow grip, but it didn't seem to spook the piggies off."

Still too bulky,
January 7, 2008
By unclerick52

"This glove kept my hands plenty warm & dry just as advertised. As far as a shooting glove goes, it's a bit too bulky. You can't feel the trigger through the leather finger, otherwise a fine glove."

Very disappointed,
October 30, 2007
By DaYooper57
from Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan
|
"I'm very disappointed with these gloves. I ordered a size larger than normal and they were still way to small and when you put your hands in them the material inside bunches up into lumps. The material on the palm between your thumb and forefinger is so tight you can't open up your hand very far. I'm sending these gloves back. They are very uncomfortable. This is the first time sending anything back to Cabela's. I hope it's the last. I usually have great luck with there stuff."

Cabela's GORE-TEX/MT050 Stalker Shooting Gloves,
November 22, 2006
By Flushnkill
|
"What I like about these gloves: lightweight, warm, and waterproof, plus I love the leather trigger finger which gives greater mobility and dexterity to make a shot. I wear them in the spring for turkey hunting and fall when the weather is cold and wet. They are really warm for how lightweight they are."

Good Stalker Shooting Gloves,
November 2, 2006
By winkhink1
from Eagle River, Alaska
|
"Loved the gloves, great in the rain or snow. I didn't dip in water but water falling from the sky did not get to my hand. Easy to put on and easy to shoot with. Tight around the wrist which is good but had problems with my watch since the bands are long. I put the watch in my pocket so it did not get in the way. Not meant for extreme cold weather but you should know that going in. Good product and would buy again."
