Not 2XL,
November 19, 2009
By kikidog
from Kalispell MT
|
"These gloves are sized at least two sizes smaller than advertised. Also, there was a large knot of thread and material on the inside at the end of the left ring finger. I tried to turn the glove and remove it, but was unable to do so. Rather than waste time and money returning them for more of the same, I gave them to a thrift store. I do not plan to buy gloves from Cabela's again."

Bison Hide Gloves,
November 3, 2009
By MWatson

"These are great gloves. Stiff at first, but quickly broke in. Nice and warm on the cold Colorado mornings. Like any leather, they are not waterproof without treatment, but that will change the color. The buffalo hide is strong and durable."

Nice tough glove... but 2XL!! Am I still growing?,

"A good strong glove. Leather is pretty thick and the thinsulate (cream coloured) keeps my hands very warm. The stitching appears solid and the colour of the leather is 'as seen' in the Cabela's photo....sort of browny/orange.
The only issue is the sizing. I ordered the largest size to be on the safe side, having read the other reviews and, sure enough, even though I don't have the biggest hands in the world, they a little bit tight. The leather is giving now but be careful if you have really big hands."

Great Gloves,
February 28, 2009
By KBarA09
from Liverpool, PA
|
"Bought these gloves with hopes that they will out last the deer skin gloves. I bought the ladies insulated/waterproof deer skin gloves and loved them. The only thing....they lasted me about 3 months and I wore a hole in them. AND Cabelas only carry the ladies deer skin gloves seasonally. So...I decided to check out the mens and found the Buffalo skinned gloves, insulated. The leather is much heavier/thicker so they should hold up much better for me. And they come in a size small. I wear a womans medium so the mens small works great! So ladies....do not hesitate to order these gloves. You will not be disappointed!!!"

Buffalo Thinsulate Gloves,
January 5, 2009
By NavyHobo

"Was concerned about the sizing after reading a few reviews. I was going to order the XXL because I have problems with XL gloves in department stores. Come to find out the XXL was on a 8 month back order list. I called Customer service and was told that they have XL in stock. The representative told me to lay my hand flat on the table and measure around the knuckles. I came out to be a 10. She told me that in accordance to my measurement that the XL would fit. I went ahead and ordered them. When I tried them on, they were a bit snug, but after wearing them on and off for about an hour, they adjusted to my hand size fine. The gloves are handsome and the leather is supple. I have tried them on in 25 degree weather so far, and there is zero inclination that my fingers were starting to get cold. I would reccomend these gloves to anyone."

Excellent,
December 30, 2008
By garlees
from Fremont Ca

"The fit was perfect, and have already outlasted any of the gloves i,ve used before. My job requires constant grabing and positioning of rebar and then tying with wire. Normal leather gloves usually wear at the finger threads eventually causing the use of duct tape to patch, and after two or three applications of such they become useless in articulation of the fingers. Again I must express the excellence of these gloves and will buy more in the future. And there great for home and ranch chores."

Buffalo Leather Gloves,
May 6, 2008
By JR55
from Siskiyou County, CA
|
"The gloves were not the same size. The fingers on one of them were a good half inch longer than the fingers on the other one even though they were marked as the same size. The leather was split where the Cabela's logo had been stamped on the top of one glove and there was a slit in the leather on the inside of the little finger of one glove. Other than these things, the quality felt good and they felt like they would be nice and warm."

Good Boot,
January 13, 2008
By DaYooper57
from Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan
|
"These boots are nothing but quality and worth every penny. I used these boots whitetail hunting in the U.P. of Michigan during a colder than normal season in snow and they kept my feet warm and dry just like advertized. Very comfortable right out of the box with no break in needed. Great ankle support too. Excellent boot."
