"I use the bag to keep my decoys from getting beat up in the back of the truck on the way to and from the marsh. I use a regular decoy bag to tote decoys in because this bag isn't as comfortable for me to carry as a regular mesh bag. It should keep my decoys looking good for a long time."

"I purchased this bag and it did not last one day in the field. Two of the pockets pulled loose (ripped). I took it back and exchanged it, Got the new one home opened the package and one pocket was ripped. Back to Cabela’s, I went this time talked with the manager (Matt), we opened two more bags and the seams in pockets are pulled loose or not sewn completely. Needless to say I did not exchange the bag this time but got my money refunded. I will not buy another Avery bag until Avery can assure me this issue is resolved. It seems Avery has a bad cutting pattern not allowing enough material too sufficiently attach the seams. I have 2 identical bags which will see the 4th season this year and no problems."

"I wanted a way to protect and store my decoys since I don't hunt with huge spreads that require efficient packing for volumes of decoys. Rather, I like small numbers of authentic looking decoys. When you compare the shape of your decoys over time to the time spent maintaining their appearance with multiple uses over multiple seasons, you will be happy you bought this bag. The mesh pouch on the inside of each slot helps keep the weight and cord free of tangles and ready for easy deployment. Points I notice about these bags; 1) The width of the bag(s) when coupled and carried like the an old style mail carrier bag is combersome through vegetation & tree-lined paths, but manageable. 2) The decoys inside the bag will always be receiving impact from the ground on the bill/breast or tail as they rest in the slot up or down. If you have cork or foam decoys, be careful not to casually drop or throw the bag into the truck or onto the floor or you will have snub nosed / tailed deeks. 3) Slotted bag eliminates the familiar noise of decoys bonking against each other as you walk and carry them. 4) They stack on top of each other (4-high) or next to each other neatly. This is probably not the bag for you if you could care less about painted decoys staying in good shape or if you don't mind noisy intertwined decoys at the beginning and end of each hunt."

"We use four of the 12 slot for bufflehead, goldeneye, bluebill and eider dekes. We only hunt saltwater and bags hold up nice. Only complaint is the last two Heters mags (all our dekes) are kind of a tight fit. Little side slots are great for the leads and longline clips."

"A really great product....I use these bags for my long line rigs...I pre-rig 12 decoys, each on 2 foot leaders, with 150 feet of main long line, with anchors on both ends of the main line. I then put the long line rig into the bag all attached. When I get to the layout spot, I can put them out, usually tangle free, in no time at all. When the hunt is over, they make it easy to re-pack as you pick up the long line. They store well in the boat during the season, and just as well in the the shed when the season is over."
