Excellent Scope,

"This is a great scope. It works well on many guns. I put mine on a .243 and it works great. The scope is strong, has clear lenses and isn't very expensive. It is a great scope for smaller caliber center fire rifles and all rim fire guns. Its a great scope for the price."

Excellent!,

"I purchased my first 3-9x32 for my 10/22. I was so impressed by the quality of the scope I purchased another for my daughter's Cricket. She can shoot the center out of a target at 100yds. The adjusting knobs make adjusting the elevation for .22 long rifles at various distances quick and easy. I'm going to buy another and mount it on my 742Remington in .30-06. A few boxes of 220 gr. will tell me now tough the scope is, but I think it will live up to my expectations."

Tasco Pronghorn Riflescope,

By ArthurS

"I mounted this scope on a little cheapo semi auto .22 then laser boresighted it.
Took it to the range, clamped the gun in my vice, shot a 3 round group, adjusted the reticule in the middle of the group, and was in the 10 ring no problems.
Took a total of 6 rounds to sight in dead on the bull at 50 yards.
For the price point, a great little scope for plinking, target shooting, and hunting."

More clear than a crystal,

"This scope is awsome. I Have 2 of them, 1 on a bolt action rifle and 1 on my ar 15. I could not believe how clear and accurate it was. A guy at a gun shop told me that whatever you spend on a rifle you should spend half that amount on a scope. My ar 15 was $1000 so that means I have to spend $500 on a scope? I DON"T THINK SO. I have nothing negative to say about this scope."

Tasco,

By phynxphire

"I've shot with a lot of scopes and a lot of calibers, The price is truly 5 stars. Scope clarity is 6 stars. Zoom "feels" durable, and the zoom its self is very nice, over all 5 stars for zooming. It also comes with a scope cover, which is always nice. The construction of the scope feels very strong (surprisingly) 4.5 stars for scope construction. Lenses are pretty resilient to scratching too, and the 30/30 reticle is very crisp optics get 5 stars. Sight adjustment assembly gets 5 stars as well feels strong and seems to be 100% resilient to water. The scope is mounted with leupold rings on a bolt action .308win, and! .22mag which is fun.
Overall 5 stars."

Tasco Scope on 10/22,

"I bought this scope in the bargain cave. My friend thought I was crazy for buying a cheap scope. We took it out and we were both very impressed. I shot 1/8 inch groups at 75 yards. I never had to re-site it. The optics are crystal clear. I would give 10 stars if I could......"

Tasco Scope,

"I have used this scope on my remington .243 all of my life (26 years old now)! I love it! My father gave me the rifle and scope when i was 12 years old! I have not sited in the scope since i got the gun but am still dead on at 100 yards! At 150 it is about 1/2 inch low! I hunt mainly over feild and my average shot is about 80 to 100 yards! I have dropped deer at 300 easily! I have never been scared to take a long shot cause i trust my scope and gun! I have had only one shirtail cut in my life and that was late at night and very dark! I love this scope and would recommend it! My best friend shoots a Leopold and i will crush him in accuracy! You cannot beat this scope for the money! It just goes to show that the scope and gun do not make the hunter!"

TASCO pRONGHORN 3X9SX32 RIFLESCOPE,
January 1, 2008
By zmopar1
from Grayslake, Illinois

"I purchased this scope while on a hunting trip for my 30-30 Winchester lever action model 94A. My friend Bob told me I was crazy, that if you want a good scope, I would have to spend at least around $400.00 to get anything decent. This scope shocked both of us. I was able to pick of twigs on a old dead tree at 50 yards with it. I shot a nice 10 pointer the very next day at 97 yards with it and it dropped almost where it was standing. Deer took only two steps before it layed down. The next time I used the rifle was five years later. I took it to the range and was hitting a 1 to 1 1/5 inch group at 100 yards. Two weeks later I watched a doe cross a ridge on the other side of field, I decided to take a shot and down she went. I have a Leapold on my 7MM that is a 3X9X50 which has clear optics. But for a cheap scope this one gets the job done. I would highly recommend it over the Tasco I have on my 22Mag rifle or the Bushnell on my model 70. And both those rifles are using a 3x9x32 as well. You can not go wrong with this scope for the price."

Pronghorn on Ruger 10/22,
December 30, 2007
By bilse

"Surprising quality scope for the money. bright image and nice reticle. Although a centerfire scope, I like a scope this size on my .22. I don't know how it would stand up on a large centerfire but that is not my application. I am well pleased with its performance in my application. It is mounted on low mount Weaver rings. Zeroing was precice, quick and easy. Small tabs on the adjustment screws make adjustments easy with the fingers. Nice solid audible clicks. Fit and finish are very good, nothing looks or feels cheap. Zoom works great, I would buy another."

Pronghorn great scope for .22,

"I put this scope on a Marlin mode 60. I was able to zero the scope quickly and was surprised at the grouping. Inside a 100 yards 5 shot groups inside 1 inch from a bench rest. Optics are clear and surprisingly bright. I did find that the scope price at the store did not match the online price but they did correct that when shown the price online."

"I was kind of surprised with the quality of the scope for what I spent. the scope is clear and bright. I mounted it on a .243 so recoil is'nt an issue. Not sure how it would hold up on a heavier rifle but for what I want it was a very good purchase."

"I like this scope, the vision is clear, and it is very easy to use. I mounted this to my .22 rifle for some squirrel hunting. Set for a hundred yards, this scope performed beautifully. I was very pleased with the performance of this product in the field. Once again it goes to show that great value and performance CAN go together."

4 power tasco pronghorn,

By PAhunter111

"This is my third of these scopes. First one is on a .22 rimfire for about 3 years. It Shoots awsome. Though, they are not waterproof. I droppped that .22 in a pond while frog hunting. Scope got filled up with water. I took it apart and cleaned it and it is as good as new. The second one I bought used. I mounted it on a mini 14 and one of the crossshairs broke after about 200 rounds. Who knows how old the scope was since I had bought it used. I like the thin crosshairs because they dont cover up a small target at a long distance. I am putting the third scope on the mini 14. I have not mounted and shot it yet but I have a friend that has had one of these scopes on his mini for years. For the money I would say it is a good scope. Good all around scope."

Perfectly fine scope.,
April 3, 2007
By Ralphie

"I bought this scope for use on a .22 rifle, and I can't think of a single reason to pay more for anything else. The optical clarity is on par with scopes costing much more, the crosshair adjustments are exact, the magnification adjustment is fast and easy, and everything else works as advertised. I'd probably go ahead and use the scope on any other rifle and not worry about it being able to hold zero as long as my mounts and rings were up to the task."
