"I was looking for a low cost spotting scope to use at the gun range. I bought this on sale and it has worked well for me. It helped me sight in my rifles for deer season. It comes with a soft case, a decent little tripod, and a pretty nice hard case that holds everything. The spotting scope itself is not great, but I wouldn't expect it to be great at this price. It is good enough for range use and that's about all I would buy it for. I'm giving this product 4 stars because I think it's a good low-entry spotting scope kit for the price."

"Its deffineatly good for the money, just needed it for sighting in a few rifles"
"I purchased this scope for hunting antelope on the eastern plains of Colorado, unfortunately this scope turned out to be a poor choice. Even with the attractions of it's small size, tripod, and a hard and soft case it does not overcome its down falls. It is not capable of producing a clear feild of view except at its lowest magnification (12X), the eye relief is vitually nonexistant whitch is bad news for eyeglass wearer like me. The tripod would be OK if you were setting at a bench but for use in the field, it has very little value, it is to short to use in even in the prone possition. I can only recommend this scope as a entry level youths bird watching scope were the speciman of observation is at 100 yds or less. HAPPY HUNTING"

"If you are tight on money and need something inexpensive, then this is it. I was surprised at how nice this thing was. I bought it as a present for a friend for birdwatching. After checking it out I wished I had bought one for myself. I still may in the furture. It's compact and light, and does what I (and my friend) needs it to do. A good buy for the money."

"To be fair this is a low-end product. So keep that in mind when reviewing. You can't compare this to a Leupold, Zeiss or Swarovski. Look at the prices and it will indicate what you are buying. If you are looking for a bench rest scope, this is a good product. If you are scouting big game, this is not the product for you. I have tried to use it on ND mule deer and whitetails and it fails bad. It is not good in low light and at higher powers it is really hard to focus it. At 800 yards it is about impossible to count points on a mature buck. As far as looking at even the mass of the antlers it is very hard because it is not crisp and clear. All in all this would make a great bench scope or something inexpensive for viewing things within 300 yards. Again, you get what you pay for! This scope is not intended to be the best, it is supposed to be a price point item and that it is."

"I have this spotting scope and I don't find it very good. It's okay inside 100 yards but go over 100 and try to use more than about 20 power and you it gets hard to focus and hard to see through. It's okay for short distances and lower powers but by no means is the best for clarity."

"I was looking for a spotting scope that was compact and clear. This is both of those. For the money you can't go wrong. Comes with a hard case, carrying cast and tripod. I like this scope lots because I can carry it in my hunting pack and it doesn't take up lots of space. I have also used it at the range and worked perfect at 200 yards."

"For the modest price I was impressed, I have only used it for target shooting so far and it did what I required. I will field test it on small game namely rabbits, hares and wild cats in the next month or so but I do not see any problems with that side of it. The protective case is a bonus and overall it is well worth the outlay. I have already shown a friend and he is going to look into it further with a view to purchasing."

"For the price, I think it would be nearly impossible to beat what you get in this package. The scope, tripod, hard case and soft case are all quality made. The scope and tripod have a nice solid feel to them. I was just looking for a scope to use at the range and this one more than accomplishes what I needed in small package. The optics are plenty clear and bright enough for this application. There are definitely clearer optics out there, but you would have to pay five times or more the price of this package. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend this scope to others not wanting to spend a fortune."

"I purchased this scope for use during target shooting at 100 yards and closer. The scope does a very good job in the 25 and 50 yard ranges, but is somewhat tough to see at 100 yards using .223 on a small target. The tri-pod that comes with the scope is nice, but a little short and may need to be set on something else for easy viewing. Overall I like the scope, it looks well made and is very easy to use. Also, comes with a very nice storage case and small carry bag/pouch. If you don't want to spend big bucks on a scope, this unit isn't a bad choice."

"I purchased this as my first spotting scope and I am amazed at the quality for the value! You are not going to find a scope like this for this value any where else. The Tri-pod and Case are top notch! It also comes with cleaning supplies and a carry bag, The case is very strong, My son drags it around the house and uses it for a stool to grab stuff off of the shelves!"
