Cabelas Binocular Soft Cover,

"I purchased the soft cover for a pair of Leupold Katmai 8 x 32 binoculars. The idea was to protect the eye pieces from rain and snow while hunting. They were way to large for these binoculars and I was constantly fighting with the cover every time I went to used them. Good idea but didn't fit."

Almost perfect, but not quite,

"I really like these bino covers. They are sized correctly for small to medium binos, the material is soft/non-scratching, and it's very easy to get the binos into action. The one thing I wish they did was cover the objective lenses. Yes, they are generally pointed down when you are walking upright, but when crawling around brush and restricted areas, the exposed lenses can get dirty. If the designer would just add another flap to cover the objective, this would be the ideal bino cover."

"I just purchased one of these soft covers for my high-end binos. The package arrived marked as medium size for roof prisms. The cover adjusted on my Zeiss Victory 8x42 FL's perfect, even with the eyecups fully extended."

"This soft cover fits Leupold Cascade 8X42 very snug with its Velcro strap and eye covers are easy to manipulate. Soft fleece material should old up well on hunts. A definite buy for these binoculars."

"I BOUGHT A CAMO ROOF A BLACK ROOF AND A BLACK PORRO THE CAMO ONE WAS MADE OUT OF A SOFT FLEECE AND THE BLACK ONES WERE MADE OUT OF SOME NYLON AND DID NOT FIT ANY OF THE BINOCULARS AND ONLY COVERED THE TOP LENSES AND THE CAMO ONE COVERED THE TOP AND BOTTOM LENSES THEY WERE TWO DIFFERANT STYLES IF YOU ARE GOING TO BUY THIS BUY THE CAMO."

"These did not fit by bino's. They were to big. I have 10X43 Busnell Elite. I sent them back for a different size but Cabelas did not have different sizes. Make sure you measure first."

"The fit over the binoculars isn't very good on some models and it takes a bit to get use to. It does keep the lenses fairly clean though and works better than nothing."

"A bit pricy, but well made. The item performs well, but I think the inside liner should be either camo or a dark color instead of the brilliant white that it is. If you flip the cover open too far, you can flash game."

"It works, however you will find that you'll spend time adjusting it in the field. I feel the top seam where the ocular lense cover is located should be moved to the outside of the cover to allow the cover to rest more securely on the eyepieces but in my case my Pentax binos just barely fit in the cover. This should will keep ALL the dust out, but really does work and it is an improvement over the hard plastic cover (supplied by the bino manufacturers) which always seems to be in the way. Roof prism binos smaller than 8x40 shouldn't have any problem at all."

"this product will do exactly what it said in the advertising but way too small for 10x50 porro binoculars. I have Bushnell legends although I got the cover on it didn't offer that much protection and interferred with focussing. I can imagine this product working very well for nocs that it fits. I would recomend to a friend but will need to make sure they were aware of the above."
