"seems like when you get them tight to your chest so you can walk without them slaming your chest, they are to tight to view your binocs unless you unstrap. they are comfy though."

Neck Strap Binocular suspenders are the ticket,

"Well I have seen all the hunters on all the big time hunting shows suspending thier binoculars with these holders but never in my life did I think they would make that much of a difference. Boy was I wrong. They kept the binoculars out of the way but close and easy to get to and use in an instant. The way they hung from the neck kept them out of the way when a shot was ready to be made and I loved that about them. I was skeptical at first but as I wore and used these they turned into one of my favorite buys of the 2008 hunting season. Never will I go again with the regular old hanging strap most binoculars come with. These are the ticket for a good pair of hunting optics."

Too much neck pressure for heavy binos,

"For several years I used the strap from cabelas that puts the weight on the shoulders with a set of Nikon Monarch ATBs. I was upgrading my binos to Cabelas Euros (which I love!) and thought I'd get the new strap and pass my old one on to my son. Bad move. This strap with the heavier binos is not a good match. The 30 oz binos put too much weight on the neck with this strap. The weight of binos, particularly heavier ones, needs to be on the shoulders, not the the neck. Get the Cabelas Pro model."

Good Idea, Not the best implementation,

"Conceptually, the idea is great. I use it for binoculars and my cameras. It keeps them in place without bouncing around too much particularly when climbing (such as in and around Machu Picchu or the temples of Angor in Cambodia). I purchased two units and have one of another brand. The Cabela unit is too much bulk to easily store (takes up nearly as much room as my 10X42 binoculars, too awkward to put on and not that comfortable in warm weather."

Vegan Friendly But Needs Modification,

"We were looking for a vegan friendly (No leather or other animal products) binocular strap, and this one met that criteria, HOWEVER, the picture on the product suggested that the binocular would "slide" up and down the strap, much like other straps, but this was not the case. I needed to remove the stitching , reposition the slides, and restitch to get it to work properly. If the stitching/slides were set up as advertised, this would be a great product, and I would like another one, but I'm not sure it's worth the sewing hassle."

"The product is great. My husband loves it. The only thing I'm unhappy about is the extra $6.00 I spent for Mossy Oak Camo compared to the black. The ONLY camo is behind the neck. Should be on the straps as well - especially for the extra money."

"i finally found a product that would let me carry my best pair of binocular's without them twisting back and fourth on my chest. took most of the weight off my neck. i carry a backpack everytime i get out of my truck. this product still works the way it is supposed to with or without the pack. Thanks Cabelas for another great product!"
