"I installed this scope on my 460xvr and ave shot over 1000 round from 395gr to 200gr and has held out well. Other then the mounts failed two times cause of the mass recoil the scope has held out and work like new."

"I bought this scope and mounted it on my s&w 460xvr.I hesitated for a couple of weeks on buying because of price.I am so glad i made the right choice. I've shot about 60 rounds so far and my groups are very impressive for being new to shooting handguns.At 100yds i'm shooting 3/4" groups, and at 50yds bullet inside of bullet.Crystal clear optics with great eye relief.(great scope)"

"This scope is the perfect addition to my 44 mag super redhawk. At 25 yards I am able to hold a nice grouping. Gives me confidence and the ability to add this combination to my line up of weapons of choice for another year hunting in the great 49th state."

"The scope and gun allows me to group my shots inside a 1-1/4 inch diameter circle from 50 yards. This has been the most enjoyable shooting for me in a long time. Like my spotting scope and binoculars, both Leupold from Cabela, I am absolutely satisfied with this items and glad I'm not wondering if I should have bought them. They are worth every penny!"

"This is a great scope whether you'll be putting it on a revolver or single shot. It's particularly well-suited to a revolver because of the light weight. It's several ounces lighter than some other brands and in nearly every case more durable or at least as durable. It also looks great on any handgun you mount it on. I've used the 2.5x8 on everything from the 300 Whisper to 454's and even a 416 Taylor (yes in a handgun). I've never had one fail.
For those who are having a hard time acquiring a sight picture it's simply a matter of not spending enough time with your handgun in practice sessions."

"The scope was mounted on a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Mag and I had no problems getting it zeroed. It is crystal clear and the recticle is very crisp and defined. So far it has held the zero fine but I haven't shot it that much so time will tell if it is a great scope or just a good scope."

FXII 4x28 Survives!,

"I have had my FXII 4x28 for over 2 years on a S&W 500 Mag. In that time I have shot over 200 rounds, broken 4 sets of scope rings (aluminum and steel), and have continued to enjoy the crystal clarity of this scope through it all. The ability for it to endure the extreme shock produced by 500, 600, and 700 grain bullets is performance worth every penny. Whether you shoot extreme or standard loads in handguns, I have proven that scope rings will wear out before this scope ever will."

"I purchased the Leupold Handgun scope for my Ruger Super Redhawk .44 mag to replace a red dot scope for hunting deer in Illinois. The red dot was adequate, however, I didn't like the "shakiness" factor.
The reticle quality of the Leupold is much more to my liking. Not as much noticeable "shake" and the optics of Leupold are top notch. I went with the variable power and am very satisfied. I wear 34-35 long sleeve shirts and the eye relief with my arms outstretched and locked is perfect for me."
