"This rechargeable battery is a must..otherwise you'll be continually buying disposable batteries and needing to reset your feeder..The first purchase however was a dud which needed to be replaced..They last for ever..The varmint buster really takes its toll on the battery though, depending if your in an area where raccoons will do almost anything to get to the little bit of feed in the despenser.."
