Pleasantly Suprised,

"I have to admit I was skeptical about this product at first. This was our first year planting a food plot and it happens to be about a half acre clearing with hardwoods on 1 side and thickets on the other 3. This is a twenty acre woodlot where it isn't uncommon to see 30+ deer on any given afternoon during the early season. That should give you an idea of the damage that they can do. Anyway, we planted buck forage oats 3 weeks ago and put up plot saver the same day. The oats are now 10 inches tall, beatifully green and lush...not a deer track in it!! There is a newly established trail going around the outside of the clearing that they used to walk right through. They will not cross thap tape though. I'm sure eventually they would get so used to it that they would go over it, but it definetly keeps them out long enough for a plot to get established."

"As many of you know, if you don't protect your food plot you will be hunting over dirt. I can't afford a fence to cover an acre. Last year I planted cow peas and soy, they came up about 2 inches and the deer wiped it out and I hunted over dirt. I planted a summer blend this year and protected it with plot saver, I noticed deer tracks on the outer perimeter of the protective tape, and my food plot grew waist high. I will continue to use this for my fall planting and so on.

Plot Saver saves the day,

"I have been battling the deer on my 3 1/2 acres for over 20 years with all kinds of sprays and concoctions, home made and store bought. A strnager mentioned plot saver to me 3 years ago and I laughed, but I went online and placed and order. It works. It really works. It saves my garden until I give up the spraying in about late August.
The only reason for the 4 stars is that it washes off in the rain and if you don't remember to reapply the deer eat it all!!"

"Used Plot Saver all summer and the deer stayed out of the food plots. We did reapply after heavy rains. Recommended it to relatives with a garden and the deer stopped eating their vegis. Definately worth the investment."

"IVE BEEN USEING PLOT SAVER FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS . I DONT KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT IS ABOUT THIS STUFF BUT THE DEER WILL WALK WITHIN ABOUT 5 FEET OF THE TAPE AND LOOK OVER AT MY CLOVE AND ALF ALFA U CAN ALMOSTSEE THERE MOUTHS WATER . EVERY YEAR I LEAVE A PIECE UP DURING HUNTING SEASON UN SPRAYED AND THEY WILL WALK AROUND THE TAPE . THE ONLY TIME IVE EVER SAW A DEER CROSS THE PLOT SAVER TAPE IS WHEN I WALK UP ON A DOE AND HER FAWNS AND SCARED THEM ENOUGH THAT THEY RAN THRUOGH IT BREAKING THE TAPE .ITHAUGHT WHEN I MIXED THE CONCENTRATE UP AND I SMELLED IT I THAUGHT WHAT A JOKE IT SMELLS KIND OF LIKE MINT . 5 YEARS OF PERFECT RESULTS AND MANY MORE TO COME . "I planted 2 food plots about 3 weeks ago and the plot saver concentrate is doing a good job of keeping the deer out of them. The only problem is we have been getting a lot of thunderstorms and I need to keep reapplying the concentrate to the cord. It does stop the deer. I've seen tracks coming right up to the cord but not cross over into the food plots."

"great product,i have food plots in an area with high deer population.it keeps them off the plots for up to two or three weeks.only downfall i have found is with this product if you use on one plot and then place it around another,the deer lose their fear and go under or over and feast away."

"I have used Plot Saver on tulips and other flowers and, so far, it seems to keep the deer from eating them. I have heard that any product becomes less effective with time as the deer get used to it. We'll see."

"While it's still early and the big test will come after a good frost, we have been impressed with the plot saver concentrate. We have 'ribboned' a number of areas within our food plots and the system/concentrate seems to be working. One of our hunters recently observed a doe and two fawns stop at the 'ribbon', smell the plot save concentrate and then walk around the 'ribboned' area. Meanwhile several deer have been seen browing in the areas not 'ribboned' - none inside. Most importantly, one of our hunters has developed a more effective way to apply the concetrate to eliminate waste (overspraying) and keep the applications more economical. If anyone is interested, let us know. We plan on doing another review after we have several good frosts toward the end of October."

"This product is amazing. If you follow the directions, this stuff really works. I think this stuff must scare the deer because they wont even eat the peas outside the boundary thats even close to it. When you take the tape down it will take the deer a little time to start eating on the foodplot. Well worth the money!"

"Purchased a Plotsaver Starter Kit (stakes, tape, and repellent to try and give my deer food plots a head start this spring. For test purposes, I used a small amount (per directions) of the materials to surround my wife's tulip gardan, an area of approximately 400 sq. ft.. After one week and one rainy night, noticed some of the tulip leaves had been nipped off. That same evening, observed two deer approach the tape line, smell the tape, and enter the garden (one under the tape, one over). I then began applying the formula once per week to no avail. Of over 400 tulips, only 20-25% remain. I don't think I will bother to use the remaining Plotsaver or purchase any additional amounts."

"I needed an organic method to control deer browsing on young trees. I was amazed at how well this works. During the summer a heavily traveled deer trail developed next to a seedling and I could not find any browse damage to the tree."
