"Since receiving the Beretta Electronic Hearing Muffs a couple of weeks ago, I've spent about 3 hours in an indoor range shooting several hundred rounds of full power .45 ACP and .45 Colt while wearing these muffs. There were no problems with hearing normal conversation, and while the reports from the pistols were definitely audible, they were not so loud as to cause distraction or leave any sense of decreased hearing. My friend, who was wearing foam earplugs and conventional muffs complained of ringing in his ears the next day. I would unhesitatingly recommend these to anyone interested in first quality hearing protection."

"Muffs work as advertised. Instantaneous response to loud noise levels. Only complaint was one ear cushion was crushed flat in shipping bubble, but it seems to have expanded to normal and works well. Construction seems of high qaulity."

"I used the electronic ear muffs shooting with a partner and they worked fine. Then I took the ear muffs to a weekend class where 16 people shot around 1000 rounds each at metal targets at 15 meters. The muffs worked great but by the end of the weekend my ears were ringing. I think it was from the metal targets more than the actual firing of the pistols. I would recommend these to anyone that was shooting paper targets or for less extreme use."

"These muffs did not amplify external sounds, even though the volume was turned up to the maximum. Tried new batteries, with the same result. Overall quality of construction was good and the muffs worked well as standard non-electronic muffs, but something was obviously wrong with the circuitry. I have returned them for an exchange for another brand of electronics muffs."

"Returned after the first use. Both pads came un-glued from the housing after wearing for less than 10 minutes. Definitely a manufacturing issue...would not recommend purchasing this item for any reason. Poor quality, which is surprising for a Beretta product."
