The Best!!!,
January 26, 2009
By Northland
from Two Harbors, Minnesota
|
"This is my second pair of Cabelas Goretex Bibs. My other pair is several years and several thousand snowmobiling miles old and still does not leak. They are now relegated to snow blowing and ice fishing and the new ones for snowmobiling only. Very high quality constructiion and in my 45 years of snowmobiling, these are the best bibs I have ever owned. Almost all my snowmobiling friends are now wearing these bibs because of my recomendation....and they all concur...these are the best bibs they have ever owned...period!!!
P.S. we had a wind chill temp of -35 this weekend and these bibs were still warm!!!"

Excellent Product,

"This is a great product and fits much better then my Polaris bibs. Nice and warm and waterproof. The zipper in the front could be a bit longer to make it easier to take a leak, but you can easily adjust. When my wife needs new bibs I will get her a set. This is a great product."

Ridind fall and winter,
October 28, 2008
By GIFeelgood
from Tennessee
|
"If you want to ride your motorcycle in the late fall and winter, you need to look at these bibs. They are build to keep out all the elements. Even at Interstate speeds, you don't feel the wind and cold. The extra insulation around the abdomen and back is great. The fit is good and they are very confortable to wear."

"this pair of gore-tex bibs kept me warm and dry during my snowmobiling adventures. Snow is thrown up on the seat from the back of the machine where it melts on the seat therefore you sit in water. no problem with the new bibs. no moisture goes through the fabric."

Excellent, warm, dry and wind resistant,
March 8, 2008
By RickinMA
from Gardner MA
|
"I have owned a pair of Gore Tex bibs for over 10 years from Eastern Mountain sports, but have "out grown" them if you know what I mean. Was a little apprehensive about spending the cash on a new pair, cause I could still squeeze into the old pair. Boy am I glad I bought these, WARM, DRY and windproof and rugged as anything I have ever bought. If you ice fish as hard and in as harsh weather as me a my buddies do here in NH and MA you need to get these bibs. Excellent product. Now I want the jacket too. One problem though, they are almost to warm if that can be a problem. When drilling your holes make sure to take off your coat or you will overheat very quickly and by the way that's when it's 10 to 20 degrees out."

Cold Weather Test,

By EricCamo

"In northern Maine the temps can get as low at -40F when we are riding snowmobiles. These bibs are warm and toasty. The internal gator keeps the wind from blowing and the Gore-Tex is the best."

Great Bibs,

By BudRS

"These are great. Warm keep you dry and the wind doesn't go through them like some coveralls. The only thing that is annoying sometimes is the legs are hard to zip and un-zip because of the velcro flap"

By Trooper68

"Cabela's shoppers, My wife got me this jacket for Christmas. I live in Alaska. I'm an Alaska State Trooper. This jacket is BETTER than my issue gear by a whole bunch! I've been snowmobiling when the temp was -20*....at 40-60mph....and I was plenty warm. Yes, I had on a fleece underneath, but otherwise, that's it! AWESOME gear! Trooper"

Gore Tex XPG Bib - Regular,
February 20, 2008
By StFroidPete
from I live in the Crown of Maine
|
"My test of this product occurred the first week of February when I took a 4 day snowmobile trip into the Gaspe Peninsula in Northeastern Quebec. The claims that the bib was warm and 100% waterproof is absolutely true. It fit very comfortably. I would easily give it a 5 star rating except for one thing. The men's zipper/fly is simply not designed well. It does not zip down low enough. Close but not enough. In order for me to go to the men's room I needed to take off my jacket and drop the suspenders, etc. That is no fun in the cold outdoors. Other bibs I have had did not require that. Thanks for asking my opinion. If it ever gets redesigned let me know. I understand you will not likely post this but I felt you needed to know my one major issue with this essentially good product. If you have to go it s a major issue. Due to this reason my sledding buddies crossed this product off their 'I want that list' Understand, I am a big Cabela's fan and cannot wait to visit your proposed new store in Maine."

GoreTex Outdoor Bibs,
February 20, 2008
By robinator
from Michigan
|
"If you are looking for a high quality, heavily insulated, waterproof (GoreTex) bib, these are it. I use them for everything from powder skiing (although they are a bit bulky, they are very warm and dry) to cutting and splitting wood in the winter, to clearing snow with my blower. Multi purpose performance, with high level of comfort. And they are reasonably priced for what you get. What more can you ask for?"

Gore tex Bibs,
February 20, 2008
By Danx
from Watertown, WI Extreme outdoorsman
|
"Great for cold weather and wind. Used for snowmobiling and ice fishing. The large amounts of velcro on the side zippers make putting on and taking off difficult. Bibs enable me to be comfortable in -40 weather when layered with base and jeans. Alone they will take you comfortable to 10 degrees. There is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropiate clothing!"

"The bibs leg zippers do not come high enough. They need to come up to your belt. To much velcro on the leg openings you can hardley open the velcro to operate the zippers. Very dissapointed with the product. Do not reccomend it."
